    I quickly rose through the ranks to become a Sergeant First Class who supervised a platoon in major construction projects. During my last eight years, I became an instructor who trained members of the Army, Air Force, Marines, and foreign nationals. Because of my writing abilities and instructional skills, I was selected to develop the annual Skill Qualification Tests for soldiers. I was then selected to become an instructional designer. Part of my responsibilities was acting as a liaison to all the services involved to ensure their training needs were met.
