I've been having trouble receiving mail via email@example.com, a GoDaddy hosted domain. Various troubles, but all culminating in mail frequently getting returned to the sender as "Undeliverable."
The solution has been to ask folks to just use my g-mail address. No one has complained about bounce-backs there.
Two things I'm wondering:
1) Are you having any trouble with any of your non-gmail hosted accounts for email (whether GoDaddy hosted or not)?
2) Do you believe the following explanation from GoDaddy?
In a nutshell, the GoDaddy (GD) rep told me the government has cracked down on spam (apparently, a Congressman was spammed and didn't like it, so he wrote a law). Email hosting sites are now required to tighten up on what can and can't get through the filters. To ignore the feds is to get huge fines. The reason Google mail still works is because Google is paying off the feds. At some soon point, though, that system will collapse and the millions of businesses depending on Google will be in deep stink. The solution: Sign up for Microsoft 360 hosting via GoDaddy.
So, what do you think? Is GoDaddy leaking the next conspiracy theory ... or have the GD technicians been trained in ninja selling techniques?
