Great primer for those without shader experience.

What are shaders? How do they work? What does it all mean? Here, I wrote a primer for you!

Spread the word! I believe the talk will be recorded for release afterwards but if you're in the bay area you should definitely attend so there are more #dartlang  talks in the future.

I'll be speaking about #dartlang  at +HTML5DevConf. The session is Dart for Game Developers. Come out and learn more about Dart!

+Yissachar Radcliffe I would expect a Phaser like experience. I have used Phaser before and i can say that it's one of the best HTML5 game engine.
Free, Open source, easy to use and has a great documentation.
The same can be said about flixel or haxelflixel.

With Webstorm's Dart support, it gives us a solid development experience across all platform, but the same could be said for Phaser, because it has Webstorm and Brackets.io. I tried Haxeflixel, but the tool support is not the best on linux.

Announcements  -

+Ali Akbar and I have been working on a +Polymer.dart library for web applications, and have pushed an early version for people to check out on pub. We're looking for some feedback before doing a proper 0.1 release.

To check out the widgets enable Experimental Web Platform Features at chrome://flags/#enable-experimental-web-platform-features and reboot Chrome. Then goto http://donny-dont.github.io/Pixelate/index.html to see things in action.

Pub site - http://pub.dartlang.org/packages/pixelate
Github - https://github.com/donny-dont/Pixelate

Feedback is greatly appreciated. Feel free to open issues if you run into anything.

Really interesting stuff for those who want to know more about how V8 is optimizing or not optimizing your code.

+WebStorm 8 finally got legitimate #dartlang  support! I was sticking with the Dart Editor due to better support for Polymer.dart but everything is running perfectly in WebStorm. Highly recommended to those who are frustrated by Dart Editor.

Thanks for the follow up Paul.  The performance regression with multiple content roots is interesting.  As you note, we did A LOT of work (and it's ongoing) to get Dart Editor to scale.  Anyway, it'd be cool to do some profiling to see what's really up here.  On another note, first class support for multiple package roots is on the way.  The approach is likely to look more or less like that taken in Dart Editor.  Hopefully this will take us one more step towards making WebStorm a viable solution for you.  Stay tuned! :)

Here's my +SFHTML5 talk "Optimizing WebGL Applications". In it I talk about the work I did on the #webgl  bits of the PS4 and how you can speed up your own applications.
