+Ian Shepherd of +Production Advice I'm wondering if/when you are going to write a blog post about Tidal. I'm very interested in what you might have to say about it.
Some of the biggest names in music launch an artist-owned music and video streaming service, Tidal.

This makes all sorts of sense. Long overdue.

We're official! Huge THANK YOU to State Representative Eddie Rodriguez for sponsoring House Bill 2425...

"Today, State Rep. Eddie Rodriguez (Dist. 51-Austin) filed a bill to create a system to support refundable deposits on beverage containers in Texas."

Down in the list of so called "failures" is Dvorak typing. But only a failure in popularity.

If you want to add something to all tracks, like you did with the 300-400 Hz cut, wouldn't it be simpler to do that just once on the master buss?

He did mention that he only cut them all off at the same frequency for the sake of a simpler video. You should really apply one to each track and fine tune them accordingly.

"We are endangering our health by not adopting the metric system in this country."

There is a reason science and medicine use metric measurements exclusively. It's less confusing. In medicine, it proves to be safer, too. With the American public using less accurate customary units, like teaspoon and tablespoon for liquid measures, there is a greater danger of incorrect dosing.

Bottom line, the sooner we come around to using metric measurement universally, the better off we will be.

The metric system might save your Gramps, but it'll kilogram.

You can spend political and financial resources building a pipeline. Or you could do this:
The Netherlands on Wednesday unveiled the world's first solar bike path, a revolutionary project to harvest the sun's energy that could eventually also be used on roads. The so-called "SolaRoad" bike path is made of concrete modules each measuring 2.5 by 3.5 metres (eight by 11 feet), embedded with solar panels covered in tempered glass. The solar cells currently put the electricity they generate onto the national grid, but future plans include u...

Pretty neat. If you're gonna be in the humidity and the sun, anyway, might as well have it do some work for you.
