Just put some code on github that I wrote back in 1995: https://github.com/schemeway/idyl. It's a Dylan interpreter in Scheme. Does not compile using modern Scheme compiler, though.

Java 8 will be a much more productive language to program in. Unfortunately, it will take a few years before I will be able to use it professionally, though. It's the fun part of working for large organizations...

From Learn You Some Erlang (an excellent book, btw): "... while the rest of people debated the merits of vim vs. emacs, the only war that couldn't die after a complete Zombie apocalypse." So funny!

A bit cliché, but not too far from the truth.

Spent most of my childhood summers in Drummondville with my maternal aunts and uncles who tended cows that produced a lot of milk that ultimately became fromage en crottes at Lemaire (and tons of it seemingly returned to the farm and was consumed) but poutine was never on the menu in my family.

Story
Tagline
Communications technology geek, Erlang & Scheme programmer
Introduction
I have been in the speech technology industry for almost 15 years now. I am currently partner and CTO of Nu Echo, a company specialized in the development of high performance speech applications and development tools.

I am also the author and only maintainer of the SchemeScript, a full-fledge Scheme editor plugin for Eclipse. I use it almost daily and have been downloaded by 10's of thousands of people.

My interests these days revolve around Erlang, distributed computing, and fault-tolerant communication technologies.
