Based on another article I read about this it only works if they already know approximately where you are, which kind of makes monitoring the battery to find out where you are less useful..

Also: "These are very common permissions for an application [...] There are 179 apps currently available on Android app store Google Play that request this information" - I don't know how many apps there are, but that doesn't seem particularly common ☺

I like the elephant lamp post. That'll look good in Trafalgar square.

This is a really fascinating look into the discovery of oil and how it has shaped much of modern history.

A really lovely independent bakery/café offering free WiFi, delicious drinks and scrumptious food. The coffee is the best in Holborn for sure! It's secreted down a side street and a real gem and delight to find in such a busy area.

Disappointed to find out that the Korean BBQ wasn't available for lunch. This basement restaurant offers Korean cuisine at a *very* high price compared to some other restaurants and doesn't taste that authentically Korean, but certainly not bad. However, the interior is really nice, the staff very friendly and it has a lovely atmosphere! It's also really well situated right next to Holborn tube station!

A really lovely hidden pub stowed just out of the way of busy streets. Well kept real ales, friendly service and good food. A charming atmosphere and really nice interiors.

This is a really unique and interesting restaurant to visit, though the food and service is a little hit-or-miss. You order your food digitally through an touch-based interface which is projected onto your table; the food that you can expect to eat is even projected onto your plate. However, after eating there a few times the novelty experience wears off - and in fact the service is often quite poor as there are few front-of-house staff and it's often difficult to talk to someone if there is a problem with something/an order hasn't arrived. The food is good, though you certainly pay a premium for the novelty!

Very much what you'd expect. Sickly sweet donuts, prompt service and a very expensive price. I'm not sure how they manage to charge quite so much for their donuts, despite their tastiness, I think you're better off finding a more affordable bakery.

very large place - often crowded but service is never too much of an issue. This is a Wetherspoons chain pub and offers food and drinks at a very reasonable cost for central London. Food is especially a good deal - nothing special but certainly not terrible standard British Pub food. It's quite noisy, but there are some tables and booths at the back which offer a little less hustle and bustle if you're lucky enough to get a table!
