One day we'll laugh about the old days of squinting at our laptop screens
A new standard that supports higher-resolution displays should help move 8K screens from the realm of high-end TV and into laptops, all-in-one PCs and possibly even mobile devices.

Haha, indeed +Dolphin Computer Upgrades Ltd.

Very true. Compared to other technological advances (particularly on smart phones and tablets) screen resolution seems to have progressed reasonably slowly in the last 3/4 years.

Although, often the smallest change can make a huge difference, that often goes unnoticed!

As the iPhone 6 bendage goes viral on social media, we ask, should technology be flexible? #bendgate
The iPhone 6 bends due to a "design flaw". Or does it bend because of "human misuse"? Is it time that the viral publicity given to a flexible piece of technology is because it is a good thing?

Can you believe this scam is more than 5 years old - and yet just this week we were contacted by someone who had fallen for it.
The telephone scam that claims to be a technician calling from Microsoft to say you have computer viruses is over 5 years old but still catches people out today. So what should you do if you fall victim? And if you know of the scam, have you let others know about it?

From a robot sweeper who can watch the dog, to a home security system that knows whether you have a visitor or it's just your cat, here are some of our favourite gadgets from #CES2015
Whilst we’re still a long way off the Jetson’s robot housekeeper, the Hom-Bot sweeper can be controlled by your phone...and even has surveillance functions –

It's been another very busy day for the Dolphin team - we've repaired an IP Camera system that went offline because of weathered connections; Installing an iPad for a client to use their service management software on the road; Resolved a network port forwarding issue; Returned a laptop to a Care Home in Worthing after cleaning all the viruses off; Installed a wireless extension; Installed a cloud based backup system; oh, and went to a business networking meeting. Covering all areas of Sussex today, Haywards Heath, Hassocks, Brighton, Saltdean, Worthing and Chichester. Time for a cuppa perhaps....

If you're planning on a #spam fritter for lunch, it's probably either from Bulgaria, or the US
Bulgaria tops the spam-per-person league table, but US inflicts more spam on the globe than any other nation
