Nanoparticles that can deliver antiobesity drugs directly to fat tissue have been developed. "Overweight mice treated with these nanoparticles lost 10 percent of their body weight over 25 days, without showing any negative side effects. The drugs work by transforming white adipose tissue, which is made of fat-storing cells, into brown adipose tissue, which burns fat."

The article says the drugs are not new, but the existence of drugs that can flip regular fat cells into brown fat cells is news to me. The drugs are rosiglitazone and prostaglandin (or rather, the mouse analogue of prostaglandin), which act on a receptor on the fat cells called PPAR (peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor), and the nanoparticles have an outer shell of PEG (polyethylene glycol) and a hydrophobic core bound to a polymer called PLGA (poly lactic-co-glycolic acid).
New drug-delivery approach holds potential for treating obesity.

Hello,
Can someone check the page "My registered products" and/or "My registered user downloads"?
I have an active subscription but in my account missing the information about "Delphi 10.1 Berlin". Also - can't download the installer.
Is this an update in the site or it is only for me?
(Issue/bug and so on?)

In the 10 or 10.1 - go to MainMenu\Refactor\Find Unit...
Or just type "Ctrl+Shift+A"
It is cool (for me especially).

But how to set this tool to search something custom?
Is there such option?
Search in these folders or something like that?

Hello folks,

I need a book which covers the CURRENT DataSnap technology.
And if this is possible - fully!
Or... books for Delphi which cover this technology too.

I want to know about the security, how to make a custom filters, how to exchange keys or use the roles... the techniques and examples. Just everything.
The examples and the YouTube videos... they are ok but not enough.

Is there something like this on the market?
Online courses?
Does anyone know something?

No, +Dobrin Petkov  i'm the one to apologize.  I took the jovial tone of this forum and typed too fast. I was trying to be ironic.

Following rant might be irrelevant to you OP.

I have never experienced anything more advanced than the demos regarding the technologies from CG/Emba/etc. Every presentation i have attended (granted they are few) didn't give me much.

The key point nowadays when i choose a 3rd party library is the forum support. I have learned a lot in the best ones. In these new subscription-times i see that i may have some support included. I'm having a hard time imagining it would be more efficient than posting here.

Even DevExpress do these things at an ok level (it's a bigger vendor than for example RTC or IBO). One thing i love about the Delphi ecology is that it's almost always possible to have the sources. Maybe other ecologies are catching up, i don't know enough to say. In the JS world everything seems to be sources (lol).

My experiance with DS; I went to a presentation. When i purchased XE2 i purchased enteprise. Today i have a Professional license and 3rd party licenses at approximately the same cost.

One project is still locked into XE2 and DS and the client do not want to pay for a migration. Back then there was two showstoppers, one concerning the encoding used when the js-files are generated and one concerning the inability to change the METHOD to OPTIONS without patching the sources.

A radically new sensor technology capable of nanometer-scale spatial resolution and exquisite sensitivity, capable of using a single atom to capture high-resolution images of nanoscale material, has been developed. "Under the microscope, the unique single-spin quantum sensor resembles a toothbrush. Each 'bristle' contains a single, solid nanofabricated diamond crystal with a special defect, a nitrogen-vacancy (NV) center, located at the tip. Two adjacent atoms are missing in the diamond's carbon lattice, and one space has been filled with a nitrogen atom, allowing for the sensing of specific material properties, particularly magnetism. These sensors were manufactured in the clean room of UCSB's Nanofabrication Facility."

:)... My precious... !

This is a joke about the bug with the missing technology (ActiveX) if you use the newest installer.
Maybe this is not bug - I don't know... but... just use the ISO file.
This is my recommendation.
