I've been plugging away at the jigsaw word match worksheets to go with all of the children's version bible stories on the site.  I added a set for Moses yesterday.

Free printable templates for making a Samson and a Delilah color, cut and paste craft using a cardboard tube as the base to make it a three dimensional model.  The kids can play with it, act out the story or just set it up in their learning center while they're learning the story.  In our house the "learning center" is our kitchen table so we often have fun, crafty center pieces we can chat about while we share supper together!

We file our little pages in a book that we can refer back to -- sort of our own little picture dictionary.  I just punch a hole in the top corner of each page (we use pieces of paper torn in half -- each page has one word) and then organize them alphabetically, holding them all together with a keychain ring.

Samson is a hero from the Old Testament -- the story is a good one for kids as it has a fun plot and teaches them not to take God's gifts to us for granted.

There are a few crafts, a children version story and a teacher's guide to go with the story of Samson and Delilah.

Samson ended up breaking of his vows to God.  He didn't seem to take God's rules for him seriously.  God still used Samson to defeat the Philistines but Samson could have done so much more for his people if he had obeyed God.
