We are excited to announce that we now do in house Alignments. If your vehicle pulls to the right, left, or has an off centered steering wheel, then you need an alignment.
Here are some pictures of our technicians doing an alignment on one of our tow trucks.

School is almost back in session and students across the country will soon be packing up their cars and heading off to college. If you are searching for that perfect gift for the college-bound kid in your life, put together a roadside emergency kit.
A roadside kit is easy to assemble, not too expensive and extremely useful, plus it could be a life saver in the event of an emergency. “While it’s always a good idea to be prepared for the unexpected while on the road, the best option is to avoid breakdowns and car trouble wherever possible. Performing basic maintenance and observing a regular service schedule can help avoid unforeseen road emergencies.”
Roadside emergency items can fit into a small duffle bag or rubber storage tote and include the following:
• Jumper cables
• Emergency flares
• Flashlight with batteries
• Blankets and extra clothes
• Non-perishable snacks and bottled water
• First aid kit, including essential medications
• Portable USB charger to keep the cell phone running even if the car is not

Dustin Smith Equipment Grading had us move their office about 200 feet so we used our medium duty tow truck to do the trick.

Mr. Rios brought in this beautiful Ford truck for some repairs. We did a front end diagnostic and found a few issues. We replaced the king pins, hub seals, drag link, and steering gear. We also repacked and adjusted the front wheel bearings and did a front end alignment.
Thank you Mr. Rios for trusting us with your Ford truck and we look forward to working with you in the future.

Salvation Army’s food truck wouldn’t start so we towed the truck to our shop. After diagnosing it our tech found that it wasn’t starting because the battery was dead, the terminals were bad, and the neutral safety switch was broken. We replaced the neutral safety switch, we installed the correct battery; since the one it had was too small; and replaced both battery cables. Some other work that we did on this truck was install new seat belts, an awning, and new wiper blades. We repaired a hole in the roof, serviced the compressor, ran new ground wires for the head lights, and did an oil change. We also replaced the fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel line fittings, replaced the ignition switch with key, the wiper motor and switch, replaced the head light switch, toggle switch, and all drive belts.

From towing to repairs, there is no problem that we can’t handle. Give us a call at (909)746-0188 to schedule an appointment or visit us online at http://www.directtruckandautorepair.com.

Mr. Mesa brought in his Jeep Patriot for a brake repair, he wasn't sure if it was the front or rear that need attention. After diagnosing the vehicle our tech found that the rear shoes were low and needed replacement. Our tech proceeded to replace the rear brakes. This Jeep Patriot is now safe to be on the road again. Thank you so much Mr. Mesa for trusting us with your vehicle. #brakes   #brakerepair   #directtruckandautorepair   #sanbernardino
