The afternoon was sunny and breezy.  A perfect spring day in Texas. The air smelled fresh, the breeze was just cool enough to stop you from complaining about the Texas sun in your face, but you could still feel its warmth o...

My hellos are her last goodbyes
my farewell is the breaking of her heart
my affection is the straight jacket
my words are her prison
my embrace is the constricting of her lungs
my kisses are bruises on her naked skin
my touch is a hand around her throat
and the harder I try to stop it
the more I come to realise that
my love is her asphyxiation.

I made this about a year ago... I can't remember all the editing, apps, etc. but here it goes...! I used #imageblender  to blend the layers, as well as #instalayers to erase bits and pieces of each layer as needed, #scratchcam for texture, and #rollage for the bursting pattern in the back ground.  :)  And, last one I remember is #snapseed  :)

This was a fun (albeit lonely!) little side trip in Death Valley on the long journey back to Texas from Monterey, CA.  The red dress was a happy accidental contrast against the barren landscape, so I just desaturated it a little more to make it pop a bit.  :) Cheers!

A major typhoon is touching down in the Philippines right now. I just left the country a few days ago and took this photo on the flight out. The Philippines has faced so much natural disaster... While there I visited the earthquake damage in Bohol. Over 300,000 people were displaced from their homes just a few weeks ago after the 7.1 quake. In Manila I stayed with a family who's home had been flooded multiple times over the years. In the worst flood, they lost their most treasured possessions. The Typhoon today (Haiyan/Yolanda) is the strongest storm on Earth this year and one of the largest tropical cyclones ever recorded in terms of wind speed (235mph). Catastrophic damage is expected. Fortunately, they think it's blowing by so fast that the flooding won't be as bad as the wind damage. For info on donations, safety and volunteer work, check the Red Cross:  http://www.redcross.org.ph/

Admittedly, I rarely browsed through any #deviantart material, despite having signed up to the site, but I'm starting to realize the amazing wealth of resources and information they have over there! I think I'll be spending more time getting to know this "new" site! :)

I love my olloclips, they are really impressive!  The most amazing results, in my opinion, is with the macro lens... #olloclipmacro   #deeashley

I initially said this was a 5c shot, but I actually believe I used my iPod touch with the adapter on this one.

I'm just curious (and fine, a little confused!), about this new google stuff.
Introduction
I just decided that my profile was too long-winded, so I erased it.  Suffice to say, this photo collection was created initially mostly for online storage of data.., then I realized that people actually looked at this stuff.  Try not to judge too harshly.  This is the only spot I don't bother censuring the content - so a lot of it sucks.

The owner is very helpful and the selection is really great. The store is fairly small, it is an upscale boutique style. Although not cheap, they have a pretty healthy sale item selection. They have men's clothing, but VERY limited. I'll definitely go back when I can afford it! :)

Almost identical to chicken express, but that crazy good flavor is missing... The rolls could use some salt as well. If I wasn't so biased however, I'd say the food is quite good, as far as fast food restaurants go.

Very well maintained, excellent views. I recommend mornings early, it's not crowded and, this morning for example, it was very peaceful despite the aircraft and noise pollution. Air Traffic control chatter is also being transmitted live over a speaker, which I think is fascinating...! :)
