Red Head 250
Ferrari 250 Testa Rosa at the +Pebble Beach Resorts
Concours d'Elegance, August 2014.
The legendary race car of the late 50's and early 60's. As always, having one or two great examples was not enough. Pebble Beach Concours collected 20! +Ferrari
built these cars for it's own team and for customers. The car won the 24hr LeMans in 1958, 1960, and 1961. It's quite amazing to look through the racing circuit history and see how the power shifted from Jaguars and Mercedes to Ferrari with the introduction of the 250, and it's siblings such as the 250 GT. They are all beautiful, they were all piloted by brave man, they were all used to display speed, stamina and team work.
Testa Rosa means "Red Head", after the valve covers of the car (source:Wikipedia)www.dimabarsky.com#fourwheeledfriday +Akhil Kalsh+Annelies Jansen +Baba Schmitz +Kimberly Tweed +StPaul Herrmann +Four Wheeled Friday +Eric Hege +Virgil Cowen
