NEW YORK, May 23, 2013 – Toyota today announced a $250,000 donation to support relief and rebuilding efforts for victims of the tornado that hit Moore, Oklahoma and the greater Oklahoma City area on May 20.

I'm an Oregon resident that was recently car shopping, and after reading reviews I ended my day here on this last Saturday, May 9th. I have to say, when I walked in I didn't expect for them to try to hustle me. I walked in and immediately a very friendly sales associate was helping me. She found a truck I was interested in buying, with only problem being that it was in their truck lot in Vancouver. She passed me off to another salesperson, who was... less helpful. He just was fairly inexperienced, and it showed. After driving down there for the test drive, I was pretty well in love with the vehicle and it was in my price range for purchase, so I decided to start the sale transaction. So far, so good. At this point, they make me go all the way up to their Kelso lot again to start the paperwork. Not a huge deal, I guess I'll just chalk that up to an extended test drive. But this is where it gets interesting. I sit down to start the paperwork, and even though I was pre-approved through my credit union, they still wanted me to fill out a credit application through them.... I made it very clear that I didn't want my credit run unnecessarily, and they assured me it wouldn't be since I already had a loan set up at a low rate. An hour worth of back and forth later, we're still waiting for word for whether or not it'll go through. I remained patient, as the last vehicle I had part in purchasing a few years ago took a very long time as well. The salesman ran around a lot from one place to another, not sure what he was doing, until he came out with the paperwork for the sale to go through. I saw then that they were trying to charge me sales tax on the car, almost $1500.00. The saleswoman who was originally helping me had already told me that since I'm an Oregon resident, and would be registering the car in Oregon for use in Oregon (mostly, I do visit Washington from time to time), there would be no sales tax. I told my salesman that this wouldn't do, and he took it into their back office to talk with someone. Then he brought out the finance manager. He was very curt with telling me that "for auditing purposes", they would have to charge me sales tax. This was upsetting to say the least, especially when every other lot I'd been to said the exact opposite. I told him that was incorrect, and he just scoffed. So I walked away. Just watch out for this, Oregonians. You do not have to pay sales tax on a new vehicle you purchase in Washington just because they try and lie to you about it. This sheister of a man was trying to take me for some extra dough in their pockets. Don't let this fly!! To all of you reading this, good luck! Car buying is stressful enough as is, and I wouldn't recommend going here in the least due to getting the run around here.

With two new little ones on the way to make a household of 6, we had to break down and buy a Van. We fought it every step of the way trying every big SUV we could think of. And Bryan and Tim were very patient throughout the year when our busy schedules kept putting of our purchase. In the end the Sienna was the way to go and Jordan Lowery was great to work with. Showed us a few (and even a Sequoia just in case) and found the one we wanted and brought it in for us to check out. It exceeded expectations and so did Jordan. With the 2 year Toyota care plan we will be back often and are looking forward to the new relationship. Thanks, Erik & Abby Guttormsen

I just bought a new Toyota Corolla today from Dick Hannah Toyota. It was such a good experience, I worked with Jesse, Nick, and Danny there and all three were absolutely awesome! They were so friendly and helped me out with everything, offered me water and coffee and just hung out with me until my paperwork was ready. They were fun and personable and made me really enjoy the process of getting a new car, which can be very tedious at times. I really appreciate them and the rest of the team at Dick Hannah Toyota. They really do care about what they do and the people they serve.

new car experience Jordan greeted us within minutes of our arrival, professionally introducing himself and answering all of our questions with confidence. We felt very comfortable with his easy nature, and seemingly surprising knowledge (for a young man with only 7 months exp.) Jordan was professionally dressed, calm, kind, eager to help but not aggressive. He admitted if he did not know a detail and found the answer, without trying to BS his way through. Jordan stayed in touch during the approval process, without being invasive. Jordan answered our phone calls, and questions. Jordan delivered 100% satisfaction for our new car buying experience. Jim was our Finance Guide, I found him to be patient, precise, kind, skilled and detailed. Perfect Professionalism.

Coming back from Seattle to Seaside my Dodge Cummins broke down. It was pouring rain and I popped the hood to find that my fan pulley had busted a bolt and come loose, working my serpentine off and shredding it! On a Sunday and stranded at 9pm the tow truck hauled me to the nearest safe parking lot, which happened to be just outside Dick Hannah Toyota. In the morning I went to talk to the service guys. Justin was incredibly helpful and understanding. His staff made me feel comfortable and brought me a water bottle and calming conversation. He and his techs helped me find the solution that got me back on the road without breaking the bank. I am so wary of letting anyone else work on my vehicles, but these guys were careful and qualified and took great care of me and my truck. I was back on the road in a day with the surprise of a CLEAN truck and an awesome experience! Thank you so much Dick Hannah Toyota. I highly recommend them!! -SarahLouise

Received re-call information for a newly purchased 2014 Toyota Tundra on 11-3-14 directly from Toyota. I called Dick Hannah Toyota, Kelso to schedule an appt for the recall and the 5000 mile Toyota Care service. The gal in the service department said she would call me when the parts were in so I could come in for both services. I did not here anything for a month. So. I called them back 12-2-14 and they said they didn't know anything about anything (literally) and they would have to call me back. They haven't. I can't rtae their service other than to say it is non-existant and they just don't care based on my experience. I'm VERY dissappointed that Toyota would allow such crappy follow up. Anyway, I would suggest the dealer in Vamcouver or Chehalis.

Our experience at Dick Hannah in Longview was absolutely wonderful. They worked so hard to meet our needs and our budget. Our salesman, Glen Jones, was super nice and quite committed to making his guests comfortable and happy with their purchase. Jim in finance was truly great as well. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the other man that was talking to the lenders to find us the best rate possible because he was absolutely awesome as well. I'm kicking myself for not remembering his name because he worked so hard to get us the payments we needed and totally succeeded, all with the best attitude and obvious concern for what was best for his customer. Everyone we interacted with were really real people and not your average stigma of a car salesperson. Very genuine. No pressure or trying to sell you something you didn't want for their own profit. They want their customers happy and it shows. They will have our business whenever we are in the market for a vehicle. Thanks again, guys. You all ROCK!

My husband and I purchased a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruzer from the Dick Hannah Dealership in Kelso, WA September, 2014. We have only had the vehicle a few weeks, but we both totally love it. My husband had researched these vehicles on line and we also went to several dealerships. The FJ that we purchased at the Dick Hannah Dealership is in excellent condition and fairly priced for the model year and mileage. Sandra McMillin was our sales person. Sandra and my husband spoke several times regarding information about the FJs we were interested in. When we arrived at the dealership Sandra showed us the various features of each FJ, she is very knowledgeable about this type of automobile. Sandra was very professional, courteous, and interested in showing us any vehicle we wanted to see. We also worked with Brandon Martinez in the area of financing this purchase. Brandon found us a great interest rate, he was very friendly, professional, and fast. Blake from the service department showed my husband how to get to the U-haul store. Blake helped my husband secure the FJ on the trailer, so that we could haul it home. Blake is a super friendly and pleasant young man and he went out of his way to help trailer this vehicle. We have told several friends about the dealership and the Great Service we received. We would certainly buy another vehicle from this dealership. This a very nice sized dealership with many nice cars.
