Oh Google+. You added an event to my work calendar that someone invited me to. I can't attend and so responded NO and yet it's still showing up on my Google Calendar (NOT helping). Clicking through only goes to the event page. So annoying. I was able to remove it by clicking on the little person icon and then saying "Remove" but what a hassle!

I wish they weren't pushing G+ so hard on us.

Fun stuff! I'm currently binge watching Orange is the New Black. Remember doing this with DVDs (just "one more episode ..." at 1 am, then running to mailbox to drop off a finished DVD so that I could get the next one sent to me)! Streaming is oh-so-much more immediate (and dangerous)! And cool.

We must be like you, can't really even justify cable. We may have to check out this show, we just finished with another foreign crime drama and are "in the market" so to speak.

Well, then, we will expect to see you and your family at the Roundup one of these days ... now that we know how close you are.

Looking forward to lightning talks with Women Who Code in the South Bay at Netflix on 11/20. Join us! http://www.meetup.com/Women-Who-Code-SF/events/147510382/
More south bay fun! Netflix have graciously agreed to host us for a Lightning Talks event in November. More information will be posted to this meetup event closer to the time, but we already have several exciting speakers lined up from Netflix and elsewhere on subjects which include deploying with AWS, Node.js and more! If you would like to give a 5-10 minute talk on a technical topic, please email me (jennielees at gmail) with a quick bio and pr...

Chromecast or Apple TV for me? That is the question. I'm thinking it's time to abandon using the Wii to connect to Netflix on our TV. Since I'm totally sold on my Android phone, I'm thinking that Chromecast may be my best bet. And .. I can probably sneak it into our house without my husband recognizing it as "Yet Another Device". Hmm ...

Hi Dianne, Try Miracast as this will do a full mirror / clone of your Phone or Tablet on to your TV..

As long as your Android device (or even iPhone) is Miracast compatible then you just need to put the Miracast dongle into the TV, or if your TV is Miracast ready then you don't even need the dongle.

This is because Chromecast may not always do a full mirror / clone of your phone or tablet..
