Introduction
Web usability/UX maven, ecommerce manager, wife, mother, writer, unrepentant Monkees fan, avid crafter, practicing chocoholic, voracious reader (not necessarily always in that order).

Everything that happened, starting at the beginning: The earth cooled. Then the dinosaurs came. I was born at an early age (or so I'm told -- I really don't remember it very well). I got taller, and here I am.

I concur with my dad -- we've eaten at Alodia's in the past and have always enjoyed it! The food is terrific, staff is pleasant and service is great.

Food for thought for small business webmasters and content marketers...
As someone who has been working in the online marketing space for the last 5 years, something I hear a lot is, “How can I get more visitors to my website?”The idea of "getting more visitors to your

OK, peeps, need some help here. The company I work for has a Google Account to which was associated a YouTube channel. Operative word here being "was." Been that way for ages, all well and good. Today I come back from vacation to find that our entire YouTube channel is apparently 404, all the videos appear to have been deleted, all the playlists marked "private." Google apparently wants me to create a NEW channel, which apparently will create a G+ profile for us. Which we don't need because we already have a G+ page and a Google Account. And I thought companies weren't supposed to have profiles, only pages, anyway. Did I miss a memo somewhere? WTH is going on? And is there any way to fix it? Google's "help" is spectacularly unhelpful.

So true! I think a similar analysis works for comments made on after-presentation evaluation/feedback forms.

Excellent for those who just need a straightforward record of arrivals and departures. I can think of several alternative uses beyond employee time and attendance (tracking resource utilization, tracking attendance at school/day care, etc.). And it works with RFID proximity badges or PINs, too.

Unique in the industry! Our latest: the BioTouch time clock gives you the security of biometric verification and the ease of use of Microsoft Excel, all with NO network configuration hassles and NO software to install.

From "off the clock" work to minimum wage laws to record-keeping requirements, this quick (and informative) article covers the basics you (and they) need to know.
