African blue water lily. I remember them growing wild on farm dams when I was a child. Today the dams are 'clean and tidy' no flowers allowed.

Cape Town is being flayed by a succesion of fires. Remembering the labyrinth in the next valley (Glencairn) as it was last March. Now reduced to ash.
