I fully support kids as young as elementary school being introduced to coding and the concepts of logic. It may not end up being the thing for them, but there are plenty of integrated positions around coding in the field of the internet.

I had an incredible opportunity this morning to talk on WNPR about the field of coding and specifically women in it. I tried my best, I hope I didn't sound as nervous as I felt. Meanwhile I could easily talk about this topic for a half hour or more.

I'd love any feedback. I was in the latter half of the segment. Thank you all for your support over the years.

Doing a little research on Ted Cruz, either he's one of the biggest corporate backed (grassroots) politicians or one of the most fearful and ignorant. http://www.ontheissues.org/senate/Ted_Cruz.htm

Quite a handy little resource.
Great mobile prototyping wireframe toolkit from Zurb — totally free with templates for phone and tablet apps targeted at iOS 7, Android Jelly Bean and Windows 8. The stencils work with Omnigraffle for Mac, Keynote, or your favorite PDF program.

An incredible data representation. Individual dot points for all 2010 Census takers. It's fascinating to zoom into certain areas. Also wow is the eastern half of the United States more populated. http://demographics.coopercenter.org/DotMap/index.html

Most of us who are creative as kids get told at some point, you can't make a living being an artist. That's not true. Some arts don't have direct clients and don't have 3 week deadlines, and those arts are some of the most rewarding and fulfilling for the long term. They are the kind that are remembered long after you are gone.

Jeremy, who I feel grateful to call a friend and fellow artist, is incredibly talented and fully tapped into creative spirit. His paintings that stand the test of time.

He's looking to spend a year exploring that more fully and is looking for support. Craig and I just donated, please consider supporting a local artist with a great project.

Spent the day out at Schoodic Peninsula. We fluctuate between sun and fog. We got to see sailboats, cormorants, seagulls and porpoises of some variety. A very nice way to spend the day. http://www.flickr.com/photos/criana/sets/72157634736918987/
