The two room suite with a king and two bunk beds worked well for our family of five. The second room with the bunk bed also had a pull-out couch bed. We tried the ART (Anaheim Resort Transportation) but that turned out to be a horrible experience. We had bought the ticket at the hotel and since we weren't able to use it they applied the amount toward our room. It's only about a 10-15 minute walk to the gates of Disneyland/DCA with kids in tow so we went with that. The full breakfast at the hotel was perfect and included lots of different food which is good for my kids since they all have different tastes. My kids also loved the pool. The staff was very polite and helpful. The negative that bothered me the most was that the wifi was pretty flaky. Speeds were slow, or at times the connection would drop completely. This wasn't just me; everyone in our room had problems. If this were to be addressed, my rating would be five stars. All in all we liked it here and will be coming back. In fact we're going back in just a couple of months, this time with more family, and everyone will be staying here.

Great value. Reasonable walk to the Disney parks. Breakfast is decent; waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, cereal, etc. Rooms were fairly comfortable and clean. They could use more sound-proofing on the street side, but that didn't really matter much when we were so worn out after a day at the parks. I wouldn't want to stay at the hotel all day, but we will likely stay here again for our next Disney trip. The amenities and conveniences were worth the cost.

Convenience... the best word to describe the Desert Palms Inn. After ten hours at the parks in 95 degree weather the nicest part of the evening was walking the last very short stretch ,back to the hotel, before the relaxation could continue in the pool, which was perfectly shaded from the sun. The trip was fantastic and the hotel was honestly the CLEANEST hotel I've ever been in, let alone was able to truly enjoy the accommodations. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Save the hassle on vacation, book with the Desert Palms Inn.

Our suite was nice sized and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that there was no new toilet paper rolls in the room.

This hotel was ABSOLUTELY the best!! I give this hotel 5 stars!!! We had an issue with making reservation on wrong day but Jennifer the receptionist was so helpful in getting us a room that night as me and my family were exhausted from our trip! We did what she told us to do and they got everything cleared with kayak's help as well!! We had made reservation for a standard room but they gave us a suite with a crib for my daughter! No hotel has ever offered a crib to us before and I thought that was just so awesome she offered! I was finally going to get a good night's rest with having a 5 month old and 2 yr old! Desert Palms and with the amazing help of Jennifer made the end of our trip that much more awesome! It was definitely the cherry on top!! Thank you Desert Palms and Jennifer!!! GOD BLESS!

Pros: Close to Disneyland and convention center. Cons: Paper thin walls, you can hear kids screaming and running around all day and the water pipes make a bunch of noise anytime someone uses a toilet or sink. There is no way to open the windows so the ventilation in the room is horrible, it's always humid, and feels moldy. The carpet is filthy with stains and a wierd smell. There are no blackout curtains and the light comes in easily through the shutters. There is constant noise from the cars outside. The air conditioner and refrigerator add even more noise to the already noisy room making it really difficult to get any good sleep. I got charged a smoking fee in the room even though I did not smoke in it. When I called to ask about it, it was impossible to speak with a manager because they were always "in a meeting" or "stepped out for the day" even if you call at 1:00 PM. It took over a week to finally talk to someone about it. They have the worst customer service here, the managers really don't care about customers and would rather lose their business than try to fix a problem.

Loved this hotel.Got a beautiful spacious room with a kitchen and a balcony. Love the location. There are several places you can go that are within walking distance. We went to the UltraLuxe theater as well as a night club called Heat. We walked to and from Disneyland and it took us maybe 8 min. The breakfast the hotel provides is great, no continental here. It was real food. The staff is very friendly and they also have tickets you can purchase through them. There is a pool and jacuzzi which was nice, as well as a gym. Really great experience overall. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit!

Old, smelly rooms and bathrooms, Noisy and rude upstairs neighbors at late hours, and being able to hear EVERYTHING from the hallways and street side made our stay at this hotel less than desirable. First night we were there we were subjected to rude upstairs people at 11-1am til we got "upgraded" from our original 2 queen bed, room to a "deluxe king" suite that was literally big enough for ONE queen bed and a bathroom. This bed did NOT fit my husband, son and myself comfortably and we were very unhappy with that, so then we were moved to a kids suite where it was falling apart. the closet door wouldn't stay shut, the faucet in the bathtub was separated from the wall, the tiles were molded and the bathroom STUNK. The front desk attendant in the evening was a liar, and rude to my husband. We will NEVER be staying here again and I highly do NOT recommend staying here yourself.
