We had a great experience at the Desert Palms. It was easy to find, the front desk staff was helpful, and we got our room upgraded at no cost. The place was clean. The breakfast was amazing. Waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, cold cereal, donuts and other pastries. Free parking for guests was so nice since everything around there costs a fortune to park. And it is an easy walk up the gates of Disneyland. Thanks Desert Palms for the great vacation!

I stayed at this hotel in Aug 2013 with my two daughters (10 year olds). This hotel is nothing special but then again, not a dirt bag either. It's a couple steps up from a motel. Bad: it's old...carpet old and musty, towels rough and dry, linen/bedding is rough and beds are not comfortable, furniture is chipped and old (drawers kept opening by themselves), tiny enclosed pool. Good: kids loved the bunk beds, rooms are sizable, 2 free drinks at the bar, free breakfast, staff was exceedingly nice and helpful, location right next to Disneyland and walking distance to restaurants. Overall, it's just okay, especially for kids. But I won't be staying there again.

The hotel looks nice, the breakfast is great, and the pool is pretty good. The walls are paper thin, the air conditioning system for the whole hotel gets overloaded easily, so prepare for hot rooms if it's hot outside, "wireless internet" is about 56k modem speed (not exaggerating), and the room setup is very small compared to other "suites" at neighbor hotels. I'd suggest finding someplace else.

I came here with my best friend for my 30th birthday! This is now our favorite hotel! They are not only spacious rooms with comfortable beds, a refigerator and microwave, but it is only a short walk down the street into Disneyland! There is a restaurant attached to the hotel but we never made it over there. The pool is small but we were there in February and didn't care much about going swimming anyway. They offer a free continental breakfast on the top floor, but it is more than just pastries and juice. They had eggs and bacon, waffles, cereal, oatmeal and muffins! For the little extra you pay for the hotel you can totally save that and then some by eating breakfast here before heading into the park!

We have stayed here and will be staying again soon. The staff is wonderful, we drove all night and where able to get an early check~in and the breakfast was good, we could eat and get a early start on the day. The 7-11 next door, the Subway across the street, gift shop, as well as the on-site restaurant make it so easy to get anything we may have needed. We had a Family Suite 2 queen beds, bunk beds, and full size sofa bed, gave us many choices for sleeping all where very comfortable. The fact that we could walk or take the ART (for about $4.00 per day) to the Disneyland Parks & Downtown Disney was great !!!!! The pool and spa are well maintained. free parking is nice. My family enjoyed our stay.

A/C didn't work in our original room, so we had to move to another room. Luckily everything was great in the next room we went too. Breakfast was average. A 10-15 minute walk to Disneyland depending on how fast the kids walk. :) The rooms were nice and clean.
