When inpatient work is complete and you are ready to join your family, it’s a time to be thankful for all you have accomplished so far. And it’s a great time to think about and plan for all you will accomplish in the future. By completing all the tasks outlined here, you will be prepared for the challenges that might come your way.

What does it mean when people in recovery say, "Stick with the winners?"

Chris Boutte, the Alumni Coordinator at Desert Hope, says "Remember that you’re not forced to maintain any relationship that’s not beneficial to your recovery or your growth as a person. Steven Henderson is a staff therapist and one of the co-facilitators of the LGBT groups at Desert Hope. Our alumni coordinator, Chris Boutté, met with Steven recently to find out more about how the program at Desert Hope meets the needs of LGBT clients and how clients are helped to feel safe in treatment.
