A Coral Time-Lapse
It took 9 months and 150,000 images for University of Queensland Marine Biologist Daniel Stoupin to create a 3 minute long high-magnification time-lapse video of corals. All that hard work has resulted in a stunning perspective on the life of #coral
reefs, which can often be overlooked due to their motion only being detectable at different time scales compared to ours. This illustrates why time-lapse is such a valuable research tool for marine ecosystems.
