Accurate.

Yeah, this is eerily accurate.

I'm impressed by next.data.gov . The thinking behind it is explained on the White House blog.  Open government data is a huge foundation for private sector businesses, and a great example of what I've called government as a platform. The new site really begins to highlight this point.
Today, we’re excited to share a sneak preview of a new design for Data.gov, called Next.Data.gov. The upgrade builds on the President’s May 2013 Open Data Executive Order that aims to fuse open-data practices into the Federal Government’s DNA. Next.Data.gov is far from complete (think of it as a very early beta), but we couldn’t wait to share our design approach – knowing that we need your help to make it even better.

Story
Introduction
My interests are pretty well rounded.  At the moment most of my free time goes toward webdesign and SEO work..  I love the challenge of climbing the ranks and the constant necessity to be learning and adapting.  I guess that love for learning is how I found myself in the IT industry.

Outside of technology I'm a sports enthusiast.  With the help of some friends I designed and moderate a successful website for displaced Milwaukee Brewer fans.   Unlike other computer geeks, I actually play sports as well.  I've been coaching / participating in recreational softball leagues in Las Vegas since I got here.  I even talked my wife into playing and now she is hooked too.

My wife gave birth to our daughter here 2 days ago. On the labor side our nurse was Ally, name tag said Allison. She was awesome from start to finish. She clearly was skilled at her trade but also was personable and took the time to get to know us. This made things so much better than if things were all business. She developed a rapport and we felt comfortable with her and trusted her opinion. Not a single gripe. On the after delivery side our nurses changed frequently. They were all great with us and should genuine compassion and care. The only reason this isn't a 5 stat review is because the horrendous bed they provide for fathers on this side. Come on guys, my job is important as well. You could do better than this 20 year old crusted excuse for a mattress. Oh yeah, the food is really good for a hospital. The tall guy who works the grill at breakfast is an artist.

We had a rough start to our pregnancy and that led us to Dr. Iriye at the High Risk Pregnancy center. This is going to be hard to believe, but he actually learned about our dilemma and reached out to us asking if he could help. We had considered other choices but in the end decided to go with Dr. Iriye because we felt, and still do feel, that he genuinely cares about his patients. This decision turned out to be great as he performed the procedure we needed with skill and compassion. We continued to see Dr. Iriye throughout the pregnancy and he has been awesome. Most Dr. appointments in Vegas include a 30 minute wait minimum. Not with Iriye, we have never waited more than 5 minutes past the appointment time and we have had a lot of appointments with him. It’s almost as if a Dr. understands that your time is valuable. Can you imagine that? On top of his ability to keep appointments he has been very pleasant to work with. He knows when and how to show compassion as well as when to lighten the mood with a little humor and a smile. He answers all your questions and we have never left an appointment wanting more. He always goes the extra mile to make sure you are happy and informed. Dr. Iriye is truly one of the best physicians I have ever dealt with. 5 stars for every aspect.

Top notch service. I found this company because they were cleaning the carpets of the home we had just purchased. While he was there I scheduled an appointment for him to do the home we were moving out of. He was 2 for 2. He called to confirm appointment, was friendly and courteous, price is competitive, showed up on time, and the carpets looked amazing. He did this circular pattern with the cleaner that made the carpets look better than they ever had before. Simply the best carpet cleaner I ever used.

Top notch service. I hired this company to move just the heavy items to my newly purchased home. Unlike any other moving company I have used, they actually showed up on time. They charge by the hour so I was worried the crew would be lolligaging around, simply not the case. Rick and Chris, the two man crew, busted their humps. Not only did they work hard, they were friendly and courteous. They wrapped up and padded the items I cared about and were willing to leave other items I didn't care about unwrapped to save time. Everything arrived undamaged and I couldn't be happier with the service. I have no idea what the deal is with the other reviews below, but you can see by my account that I am an active reviewer in Vegas and these guys are top notch.

Been to this location in Town Square several times. The atmosphere is always fun and busy.. Service is typically above average. It's a little pricey for my taste but I'm willing to deal with it on occasion for the huge beer selection.
