Hi there,
Thank you for this useful post: https://derickbailey.com/2014/07/03/debugging-browserified-unit-tests-in-a-real-browser/

I am interesting in seeing how can i debug the actual source file not specs.

At the moment I can only see the source files that are under this folder: .grunt\grunt-contrib-jasmine\app\js

These are just too cryptic for debugging.

Please assist....
Been banging my head against the wall for a few days now.

true, if you're writing your own functions with the intent of your functions being curried. but if you're writing plain functions with multiple arguments, you still need a curry function.

even with the limited experience i have, it becomes tedious to manually write wrappers with the arrow functions, all the time

If you work on multi-tier software development or SaaS in any way, there are two things you probably should be doing: Move to MEAN Stack (if you can, obviously); and, Subscribe to WatchMeCode.Com... regardless of #1! WatchMeCode.Com (or "WMC" for short) is run by Derick Bailey; a former

How do you bring new tech into your team?

In this episode of #ThoughtsOnCode  I'll share one of the tactics I've used on several teams, at several companies.

Starting with a new technology is always exciting and a jump in an unknown world.

That's why introducing a new tech is difficult.

Your way looks good. We adopt one different approach, when we have a new project we might start it with a tech we want to try.

But this is often a bad choice.

Today I started a new series of WatchMeCode episodes, covering Docker for App Development. There are 4 free episodes with the introduction and 3 installation videos (OSX, Win10 and Ubuntu). More episodes to come, with about 20 of them planned so far!

What is Job Security as a software developer?

And what does the movie "Office Space" have to do with job security?

(hint: "people skills")

When we look at a project and attempt to determine whether or not it is successful, there are many aspects and considerations that have to be judged. It can be difficult to judge, as well - and often depends on your perspective in relation to the software.

Are you the customer? Or the developer? The marketer, or the support staff?

Ultimately, the perspective that we have will shape our focus, and having the right focus can make or break the success of our software.

So, what is success in software?

Find out in this episode of Thoughts On Code.

If you've ever created a custom error in JavaScript, you may have had problems getting your stack trace to be clean. There's a simple fix for that in NodeJS, and I'll show you in this quick screencast.
