I'm excited to be speaking at the next APN Ireland - African Professional Network Ireland event next week at the Price Waterhouse Management Consultants office in Dublin. Tickets are available on Eventbrite by searching African Professional Network Ireland.

APNI & PwC's "Invest in Your Personal Brand", will feature Derek Reilly, who works at the No 1 jobs website, Indeed, and is also a highly respected leader within JCI, a nonprofit organization of young active citizens age 18 to 40 who are engaged and committed to creating impact in their communities.

Derek has a proven track-record of working and developing young people in Ireland and internationally. In JCI Ireland, Derek has excellent people and project management skills and in his time on JCI Ireland leadership team we have increased the membership base by 50%.

In JCI Derek established JCI Mayo in 2011, won Most Outstanding Local JCI President in 2012 and was a JCI Ireland National President for 2014. In 2015, Derek was a Councillor in European Development Council looking after 8 European countries.

Outside of JCI, Derek is an active member of Dublin Lions Club. Derek also delivers training / consulting on the topics of sales and networking to individuals and organisations.

About the speaker: Grattan Donnelly, Country Director, Potential Project Ireland

He is an Executive Coach, Facilitator and Trainer, specializing in Corporate Based Mindfulness Training (CBMT). In 2006 he qualified as an Executive Coach and in 2010 after experiencing burnout he started practicing mindfulness as a way to better manage stress in the ‘busyness’ of modern life.

The difference mindfulness made to him is profound and let him to join Potential Project, global leaders in Corporate Mindfulness. For over 20 years he has worked with leaders in public, private and not-for-profit organizations, supporting them to live healthier, happier and more meaningful lives.

He is a qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction teacher. He lectures the Diploma in Coaching for Performance in Dublin Business School, and is a lecturer on the IMI Diploma in Coaching for Performance. He is an Honorary Life Fellow and Founding Council Member of the Association for Coaching, Ireland from 2007-2015 and Chair from 2012-2015. He is also an Enterprise Ireland Mentor.
