Terrific curries, noodles, and pineapple fried rice. Absolutely huge portions - maybe 2x comparable places. The decor is tasteful but not too fancy, with nice Thai elements (awesome woodcarvings in the back). Service is quick, friendly, and familiar.

New Canto standby in Sunnyvale. Delish.

Asia Village

This place is pretty hard to find, and it's nothing to look at when you get here. But Asia Village worth the search and the trek to the remote reaches of an out-of-the way strip mall.

The kitchen bangs out some fantastic Cantonese food, with old comfort standbys like lap cheung claypot rice, beef chow fun, and insanely good claypot dishes. The . It's all under $10 per dish, too. And you get a free soup at the beginning of the meal - awesome.

Service is really friendly. It's BYOB too. Not much (if anything) to dislike here.

Beautiful work from Sara and the G+ pages and profiles team!

Some profile & page improvements, per your request

We spend lots of time listening to your feedback, and today we're launching some profile and page updates that you've been asking for. These include:

- A new tab for your Local reviews. In addition to your photos, +1's and YouTube videos, there's now a place for all your Local reviews. Highlight your favorite restaurants, or hide the tab completely via settings -- it's completely up to you.

- An easier way to edit your info. The 'About' tab now consists of separate cards (like Story, Places, and Links) -- each with its own prominent edit link. As always: you can share specific fields with specific circles, or keep them just for you.

- Bigger cover photos, with a better aspect ratio. Cover photos are much larger than before (up to 2120px by 1192px), and they display in 16x9 when fully expanded. This way more images can be used as cover photos, and there’s more room for your selection to shine.

Everything's rolling out gradually, so check back soon if you don't see it yet. Once it’s live (at plus.google.com/me), let us know your thoughts in the comments!

I really like the added color and the move from boxed off buttons to the softer buttons. I'm not sure I'm loving the large Facebook-like cover photo. I'll have to see once it rolls out to me though.

I like the Reviews is getting a bigger integration though! Congrats to you and +Megan Stevenson! It should really help to increase usage of Google+ Local/Zagat. :)

Extensive menu of crepes, waffle dishes, salads and sandwiches in a dramatically restored old mansion. Food was very good, especially the huge salads, which were clean (hard to predict this in any tropical area). Ask for a seat on the back patio especially during the day to beat the heat without the AC.

Terrific ambiance inside the ananda boutique hotel, in the interior courtyard. We had the shrimp tacos, the pork and the duck two ways. All were delicious and showed off great technique. Unfortunately the ice cream in the dessert melted very quickly in cartagenas heat.

Terrific ceviche at a reasonable price. But horrible service. They entirely forgot half of the order and didnt check in for 20 mins to see if everything was ok. Young hip crowd.

Thoroughly average scramble and lukewarm (and underdone) potatoes. Saving graces were the bagel that came with the meal and the gracious service that fixed my order after an initial screw-up. Very comfortable booths.
