The president of the University of Colorado has criticized the decision by Denver's Metropolitan State College to begin offering discounted tuition to illegal immigrants - less than out-of-state tuition, but just a little more than what in-state students pay.

Of course Bruce Benson will criticize this, it makes sense from both his perspective as leading the flagship university in the state (a state which when I last attended was ranked 48th or so, around the bottom, in support from the state) and because of Benson's political standpoint. It's not to say that I think he's right (I think he's wrong), but it makes sense entirely.
