"authorities' efforts to control the flow of information"?

Screw that. Controlling information isn't their job. Disseminating it is. The very fact that people should have to learn about the fate of their homes from TV speaks volumes about the failure of said "authorities".

Didnt realise we have to be 'protected' from these things, its not the networks place to decide what we see...
