Boulder's famous 'falling bear' killed on U.S. 36

Who hits a bear in the road? A bummer indeed but evidence that relocation doesn't work and unfortunately when our encroachment causes wild animals to interact with humans they have to be caged or put down.
 
I agree..how can you not see a bear in the middle of the road?? Its just so disappointing and sad..
 
With that said..the article did say it was 540 in the morning so it was still dark out..
