Watch DPTV with Denver Post reporter John Ingold, who was inside the courthouse for James Holmes' court appearance. Holmes is accused of killing 12 people and injuring 58 others in an Aurora movie theater last week.

OK.  Yes, the guy is an oddball but the question I keep asking myself is how much of the responsibility for protecting the audience lies with the theater?  How is it he was able to open an exit door, without it setting off an alarm, and then take the time to gear up while the door is propped open?  This little fopah could have prevented the whole thing from occurring.  Think about it;  he must have tested that door at an earlier time to see if was alarmed.
