Most of these miles were on an EV with no L3 and an 80-100 mile range.

+William Levra-Juillet That is a long-term concern, but I don't intend to use the CHAdeMO adapter day-to-day.  It's for occasional use and for emergency charging.  I would assume the Japanese Model S users would use it more often, and need to see what their long-term experience has been.
