The feature is included a new update that has started hitting OneDrive for Android. Aside from this, the update also brings along notifications for real-time collaboration - users get notified whenever a shared file is accessed.
If you recall, Microsoft recently pushed out an update to OneDrive's iOS client, bringing the ability to create Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files from within the app. Well, the app's Android client now offers the same feature as well.

Android turns eight years old today. Android’s Twitter account tweeted that it is whipping something up for tomorrow (likely for the anniversary, hence the cake emoji). The picture has the Android guy (A.K.A. Bugdroid or sometimes Andy) holding cute little whisk and bowl with what looks like a couple of egg yolks. Next to him lays a pile of KitKats, marshmallows, and nougat. Strangely, Lollipop is missing.

The technology could even be used in collaboration with utility companies, providing potential “smart-grid” applications which can pinpoint problems in a specific segment of a power line, or it could be applied to support utility companies’ meters and usage control systems.

This kind of technology can also be used as a last-mile solution for home-broadband access which would allow AT&T’s U-Verse to compete better with cable companies as it currently caps off at (theoretical) 24Mbps download speeds with faster speeds available only in more limited areas than the DSL connection.

The company has made the release available today, as a free upgrade to Mac users. macOS Sierra (version 10.12 if you're keeping track) can be grabbed through the Mac App Store, and it's going to be a 4.77GB download - so make sure you get it on a decent internet connection.

While this isn't a big update by any stretch of the imagination, it still comes with many new features. For example, Siri is built-in, Auto Unlock lets you log in faster, Apple Pay is available in Safari, and tabs are now a part of every app.

The issue seems likely to be a USB power delivery feature of some sort, where the USB controller is designed to cut power to connected devices if there is no activity for a set amount of time (five minutes, in this case). This is possibly done to ensure the device doesn't drain the battery. Up until now all Lightning audio devices were things like docks that have their own power source and usually charge the phone itself, so it wasn't a concern back then. But with Lightning headphones now becoming a thing, Apple will need to find a way to make the USB controller keep the power on for the headsets so they don't stop working after a while.

It is part of the latest stable Opera browser release and should offer enough speed for HD video playback.

What this means is that users will now be able to navigate their online file storage a lot easier, much like requesting things from a secretary. For instance, you can ask for that financial report you did last month and Google will be smart enough to magically transform that into a proper query with a "type:presentation" appendix.

The update has already started rolling out to users, but there is no way to really know how powerful it is without giving it a spin for yourself. Plus, the contents of the Drive account are likely to affect performance as well.
The latest update to Google's cloud storage platform allows you to use natural language expressions in search queries.

In case you don't already know, Allo - like Duo - also uses your phone number to find your friends that are using the same app. Allo is capable of learning how you answer to messages, and based on that, it can predict what kind of answers you might reply to a friend’s messages with. Head here to learn more about the app.
Just a couple of days after there were rumors that Google Allo will be released sometime this week, the smart messaging app has started rolling out - it's at-least available to install for Android users in India.

Additionally, Samsung Pay now supports restoring all of your membership, gift, and Samsung Reward cards when you sign back into the app - say after you've bought a new device. This will obviously make switching from one supported smartphone to another that much easier.
Samsung is currently rolling out an update to its mobile payments app. Once you get Samsung Pay version 2.3, you'll be able to buy even more gift cards and add more of your membership cards into the app.

Google Trips works by showing you useful information for travel destinations around the world. You can check out the things to do, restaurant options, travel options, hotel reservations, and important information such as health and emergency info, currency, etc. You can even plan your day and the app also gives useful suggestions based on location and timings of places.

The best part is that all of this can be done without data. The app has a download option that you can choose before starting your trip so you have all the data available for offline access.

At the heart of the camera is the same 42.4 megapixel back illuminated full frame CMOS sensor from the a7R II, with an ISO range of 100-25600, expandable up to 50-102400. Paired with it is a new focusing system. The a99 II has a hybrid AF system that uses a combination of 79-point dedicated phase detection AF sensor with 15-cross type points and 399 point focal plane phase detection AF sensor with 323 manually selectable points, to get a 79 point hybrid phase detection system. The system has enhanced subject tracking, ability to focus in EV-4, and eye tracking. The camera can also shoot at 12fps with AF/AE lock and 8fps in live-view mode.
Sony has announced the brand new a99 II, the latest and greatest A-mount camera from the company so far. In some ways this is an a7R II in an SLT body with an A-mount, but the a99 II does have plenty of differences as well.

This card is aimed at the growing number of 4K cameras, 360° cameras for VR and also anticipates the launch of 8K cameras. Well, that may be some way out, but cameras are already moving to 4K @ 60fps, which will eat up even more storage and 6K seems to be on the horizon too.
microSD cards have caught up to the 512GB capacity, so it's time for SD to forge ahead.
