Damn it!! Just one reason why being an A's fan living in Oregon is horrible. I have the Rollie.... Any awesome A's marketing folks want to send a Catfish.   :-)

DeSean Jackson joining the Redskins is a huge story, but many on social media were fixated with a photo in the background of the receiver's signing.

TJ's has great breakfast and good lunch and dinner options. The lounge area is large with several tv's. They have a large covered area outside as well.

My family and I came in to Pendleton late in the evening on 12/17 and quickly found the Travel Lodge. We thought the price was good and the location also looked good. I was pulling a 27' enclosed car hauler, so I pulled over on the side of the road while we were checking in. Things were going good. The lady at the front desk said we could actually pull our rig in the backside of the lot and that there was plenty of room. Great! Would rather have it parked there since that's the side of the building our room was on. We loaded our bags into the room and got ourselves prepared for the evening. We then went out to let our dog our of his travel kennel (he sleeps in the truck) for a walk, to eat/drink, etc. We then put him back in his travel kennel inside the truck and we went into our room. The next morning we let our dog out again... as good pet owners should. :-) We went on about our business, packed up, checked out and headed out. Almost 2 hours after we left and were on the road we received a call from the Travel Lodge. They said they were charging us an extra $25 because we had a dog. We were confused and told them that we had a dog with us, but he was never in the room. They them said that the housekeeper saw is with the dog walking out in the parking lot. Ok. But we're still confused. Why are we being charged $25 when the dog was never in the room? We again explained and they said we should have told them we have a dog. You can imagine how confused I was trying to figure out why I had to tell them I have a dog in my own truck. We tried to explain to them, but they just didn't care. They said because we were parked on the property we have to "declare" that we have a dog - even in our own truck. Very weird. So we got stuck paying an extra $25 for our own dog sleeping in our own truck.
