Did you see that Burger King launched a new tagline - 'Be your way'.
I've been discussing this with some marketing colleagues and some copy-writing colleagues and the reaction: Why bother?
Can something that doesn't make sense really make you feel different and encourage self-expression?
Here's what the marketing folk at BK say the slogan is all about:"It's OK to not be perfect. Self-expression is most important and it's our differences that make us individuals instead of robots."
They were using 'Taste is King' before the recent change..it was 'Have it your way' before that...but 'Be your way' "elevates [it] to a state that's much more emotional and centered around around self-expression."
