I'll just leave it here. Good to know that open-source security tools evolve...
Numerous major companies have lately been opting to open the doors to their own, in-house security tools and it's changing the security landscape significantly.

It's debatable and not exactly true, but definitely worth thinking about

I got my +OnePlus couple days ago and finally finished setting it up.
First impression - light and slim. It really looks well, although is a little bigger than "regular" smartphone.
After few hours of inspecting it, I think that I'm ready to determine target audience for this device - work phone. Either second cell for work only, either company provided cell phone. It is very good for work - all networks support, good battery, GPS, big screen, slim and fabric back cover, it really looks well on meetings or whatever.
But I can't give it to my son, for example, cause most of games my son is playing are slow on this phone. Much slower/worse than on my previous nexus 4.

I'm still in process of getting used to it, so not ready for final decisions. What bothers me the most - screen is bigger, but resolution is the same, and all things got bigger as well, like icons or buttons, and it's not that cozy as it was on nexus...

Why there is no big company website that actually works???

So, today I tried to access my vanguard 401k account again - and again it resulted in "Redirect loop" error message right after entering password.  I tried different browsers - doesn't matter. So, thay have bug in their login system for few months now. And there is no way to communicate this information, unless you have hours to spend on their phone call line.

Few days ago I tried to pay my electricity bill on Seattle City Lights site. It requires me to enter captcha to login. (WTF, by the way?) And captcha is absolutely broken - it accepts correct answer only in 1 out of 7 attempts, doesn't change image on incorrect input and it seems, that it can't handle capital letters. But this site at least has feedback form.

Why such big company can't even create web site that actually works?
I know that it is NOT that hard. The only thing that stops developers from doing good job is "business requirements". Managers! Stop thinking about money for a second - think about comfort of your customers! If your website sucks - I can't trust you with my money.

Dear Google,

Screw self-driving cars and satellites and magical weather balloons. Cover the US in cheap fiber optic Internet access, and I'll start a new religion with Page and Brin as the patron saints.
You lucky jerks in those limited areas with Google Fiber access have all the fun. Not only do you have relatively inexpensive and lightning-fast home Inter... by Michael Crider in Android Wear, Applications, News

I was ruminating on why in a world of BIG DATA, of all types, do we still primarily remain powered by gut feeling, still stuck in old thinking.

The answers are of course complex and numerous. But I tried to capture the root cause in a tweet, here it is...

Your thoughts?   #foodforthought
