We are excited AND thankful on this Thanksgiving Day to announce the addition of Dr. Melissa Curry to our DAH team!! “Dr. Melissa” enjoys small animal surgery and preventive health care, as well as working with livestock and horses. She is anxious to expand the farm services currently offered by DAH. Always a “small town girl,” Dr. Melissa grew up outside the small town of Genoa, Ohio, but now resides in Delphos with her mixed breed dog, “Bumper.” Please join us in giving Dr. Melissa a warm welcome!!

Who doesn’t love a bulldog puppy!?!?🐾❤️
Meet “Piper!” Julie Recker recently brought her newest furbaby to see Dr. John for her Bordetella Vaccination. This 10 week old English Bulldog will certainly have lots of fun playing with her fursiblings, “Pippi" and "Polo."

A huge THANK YOU goes out to Jack Switzer, who is currently serving in the Army in the Middle East. Jack's mother, Denise Jankow, brought "Rambo" (left), shown here with our Vet Tech Laura Adkins, and "Droopy" (right) with our Vet Tech Sarah Burford, in for their free toenail trims and ear cleanings during our Veterans Day event. These two lucky dogs are much loved by Jack and his family, and by us, too!!

The holiday boarding season and family get-togethers are fast approaching! Be sure to protect your canine family members by vaccinating them for highly infectious “Kennel Cough,” and now “Canine Flu,” too. Karen Putt did just that...she brought her precious Maltese, “Maddie,” to see Dr. Bonnie for her annual exam and Bordetella vaccination. The day may have been chilly, but Maddie was prepared with her vaccines and warm, snuggly sweater!!

Delphos Animal Hospital would like to say THANK YOU to all Veterans who have served our country. Bassett Hound, “Droopy,” also wants to send out a big "tail wag" to her owner, Jack Switzer, who is currently serving in the Army in the Middle East. Pictured is Jack's mother, Denise, who is caring for "Droopy" and her brother, "Rambo,” until their dad returns home.

Little "Vinnie" looks like a superhero in her Halloween bandanna, but the REAL superhero is Kendra VonLehmden-Wentz who rescued this adorable kitten! After a thorough exam and vaccination by Dr. John, Vinnie was given the “all clear” to go save the world...one purr at a time!

In August, Hurricane Harvey not only displaced a lot of people, but pets, too. Sue Maus answered the call to open her heart and home to one of those pets in need. According to Sue, Kane's mother, whose name is "Stormy," and her other four puppies were also rescued and now all of them have new forever homes. WAY TO GO, SUE!! And, thanks for bringing Kane to see us!
