As I watch the news or stroll through my Twitter feed, the one thing which astounds me is the victim mentality. This is not disregarding the bad things which happen to people, but it gives me pause when the bad thing becomes the only story. Their whole life becomes the "somebody done me wrong" ...

There are people who have had an impact on my life, even though some are not friends or acquaintances in real life. They are my social media squad. To keep it simple I am going to limit it to Twitter. They are people who I laugh with, cry with, learn from, encourage and genuinely like.

Smartphones should be considered almost like car. Meaning they should be updated and maintained in order for them to keep running. One of the top things I see are people who don't do basic upkeep of their phones. Phones they have paid, or are paying hundreds of dollars for.

The stories are compelling. The documentary style is top notch. In "I'm Not Your Guru" Tony Robbins takes you behind the scenes of one of his major conferences. Overall it has everything a person who follows success gurus can understand. Since I have watched, read, listened to, and seen Tony ...

Calvin Harris, or Adam Wiles is a Scottish DJ. One of the top in the world, but before he started dating Taylor Swift, he was not on A-level status. They dated a year, and she moved on and started dating someone else. That should be the end of it, but sadly, Calvin Harris is trying to keep ...

One of the things that stayed with me long after I left my family was the inability to speak up for myself without getting frustrated because I couldn't say exactly what I wanted to convey. I could do it in writing, I later learned, but not verbally. I had no problem sticking up for others, ...

When you turn on a TV or read the news, you would think that the only African Americans doing anything are in sports or entertainment. Some look up to them as heroes. I would contend that our views of heroes are limited. Somehow many who have changed the world are ignored in favor of those who ...

When I was a little girl, I was watching “Captain Kangaroo” and a spot for an upcoming morning show talked about how you would be happier if you smiled more. I made a decision as a child to be happy at all times. I went through my childhood far too serious than I ought to have been, ...

The choice to leave a church I attended was one of the hardest decisions I ever had to make. I had been trained all my adult life that you just don't do that. You stick it out, regardless of the circumstance. My decision to leave was because of my then pastor leading the church into backing a ...

In 1519, Hernán Cortés, faced with sure defeat since he was outnumbered, had very little protection, and history was against him, uttered three words which ultimately gave him victory. He said, "Burn the boats." In today's world we wouldn't think much of those words, but then it meant that his ...

Thinking Anew Publisher who loves to inspire peeps
Introduction
I am the Founder/Publisher of  Thinking Anew Media. We have published over 500 books and journals to help people wanting to live their passion. I originally moved to L.A. to study film but got turned onto Social Media. I enjoy the interaction, meeting people and helping when I can. Still a video buff, I entered competitions and won for producing music videos and commercials.  One of the strongest things about me is probably my memory. I am one of those people you will probably say "how did she remember that" about. I don't mind, I like it. I often say I am filled with useless information.  I am a strong Agatha Christie fan. I have either read or listened to (audiobooks)  everything she has written. One goal of mine is to make a few of her short stories into short films.  OK, so aside from the publishing wing, I also run two successful Internet TV channels which have over 14 million viewer minutes (combined). I am in the process of revamping the networks as we acquire more assets and agreements.   Well, that's all about me.

This is a HUGE mall. In fact, you can get lost in it really easily the first couple of times you go. There are your typical stores, but what's the most fun is the food court. The food court does not have the typical food. It's very International in scope, with few of the ones you normally see in a mall. If you have a lot of shopping to do, they will deliver your packages to your home or hotel. There is an area to charge your batteries, and do some things on your computer. Outside the mall is a skating rink. A word of warning, Christmas is not the time to go there, it is the most crowded I have ever seen a mall.

Quick and easy meal. The best part is they use Birch for their soda, though it is rather on the high side. You can get everything for about $10. I discovered the way to not make your bowl look so lacking was to get it topped with everything. They have plugs by the wall for your electronics. Also, you have a choice of real silverware or plastic. Depending on how busy they are, they may deliver your purchase to your table. There is one entry door and an exit on the other side of the tables, so you won't be bumping into people. It's actually really organized.

This place is great. The ice cream tastes like cereal. They even have it so you can make it at home. They also are attached to the restaurant, so you can get dessert there. Milk is not really meant for sitting in and eating, so be prepared to take it with you. The compost cookies and cracked pie are also good.

This place is HUGE. It's easy to get lost. A plus is the Metro is right inside, so if it's raining, you don't have to get wet. Lots of food options in, and near.

I really like their food. It's not overly priced, and the portions are good. It's usually not overcrowded except at lunch time. If you subscribe to their texts, you can get discounts.

The atmosphere is for sports fans. The fried pickles were good, but did not have that punch of Hooters fried pickles. The dry Chipotle chicken rub was spicy. They have specials a couple days a week where the price per wing is lower than normal.
