About Gabriël Levato:
To think outside the box can be a virtue, but to Yoeri Leeflang, it’s much more than that. It’s a lifestyle, and the one thing that drives him to do what he loves most: produce house music. The upcoming talent, hailing from the Dutch city of Amstelveen, has ever known the tactics of pleasing the crowd through exciting melodies and harmonics. It’s no surprise that this youngster now found a safe spot in the Academy of Electronic Music’s 7 finalists. Under his moniker of Gabriël Levato, it’s time for his music to surprise, indulge and take over.
Combining multiple genres with emotion and energy, Levato soon discovered a way of bringing his productions to life – by dj’ing. After several gigs in Dutch clubs, he knew for sure: this is exactly what he wants. And who knows, it might just work!
When the lights go out and the clubs open, is when 23-year-old producer/DJ Edwan comes alive. Producing since 2008, hitting it off with hard-dance and commercial dance, he won a remix contest not too long after. In 2012, the young talent teamed up with Swiss singer-songwriter Steve Leuenberger, resulting in the runner up position on Zurich’s ‘Demotape Clinic 2012 Contest’. Soon after, the Swiss youngster was asked to remix ‘Freak’, a track by Swedish duo Rob & Nino, released on Universal Music Sweden. But there’s much more…
This rising talent loves his international collaborations, having worked with producers from France, Germany and The Netherlands . In December, he hooked up with Dutch producer Gabriël Levato, with whom he know won a position as one of the 7 finalists in the Academy of Electronic Music. Future’s looking bright for this talented guy.
