The artwork of figurative artist Mark Horst now graces the walls of the DNCU Cordova branch. The artwork has been graciously loaned by Canyon Road Contemporary Art--and is for sale. If you have a chance to get over and view, it’s fabulous. A member reception with the artist is being organized for Thursday, March 19. We are proud to have Mark join our DNCU North Star Artist program.

DNCU has formed a partnership with the Pueblo of Pojoaque Poeh Cultural Center. The partnership includes a Scholarship Fund to cover all associated fees to run a one semester traditional Pueblo pottery class for up to 15 students. In addition, we wanted to further help raise awareness for Poeh—and came up with the idea to feature artist work on our DNCU debit card—as a beautiful tribute to The Poeh Center, a gift for DNCU members and daily reminder of the quality of native art within our environs. Instant issue debit cards in the DNCU branches now feature this beautiful design!

Hey Santa Feans - got any great stories about The City Different from the '50s through the '80s? A non-profit group is putting together memories of these years and how they made Santa Fe the tourist/art mecca it is today - for locals. Santa Fe Stories needs your stories and perhaps some donations to keep the project going. The goal is to make the stores interactive via mobile devices--that will show images and stories from years past at an exact Santa Fe location. Check it out at http://sfstories.org/

This time of year, we encourage you to be extra vigilant in monitoring your financial accounts. Did you know that you can receive a text alert notifying you if a payment clears your DNCU account above a certain amount? To do this, you first need to activate DNCU’s text message banking and mobile alerts. Go to DNCU’s online banking and login to your account. Next, click on the blue notification that says “Manage mobile alerts” and continue the process to activate. You then can select the amount above which to receive an alert.
