On Par with Chad: Effortless events
By Chad Gibson-General Manager, Deer Pass Golf Course

Deer Pass Golf Course has been voted “Best of the Best” public golf course for the past three years for its community involvement, continual improvement, and friendly staff. Although our specialty is golf outing fundraisers, our staff would love to wow your family during a fun day on the greens, welcoming others to join in for an awesome barbeque, cornhole, and bonfire after your rounds.

Whether you’re planning a family reunion, a bachelor party, or just a gathering for a few, Deer Pass can make any size event fun and memorable.

The golf course can hold 12 to 100 golfers, and the pavilion up to 200. Deer Pass has three bonfire pits, where we supply the firewood and three sets of cornhole boards with bags.

Our staff will set up, cook, serve, and clean up afterward, so you and your family and friends can focus on having an enjoyable time together.

Class reunions and graduation parties are also ideal to have at Deer Pass. We host those on Friday nights or the weekends, with competitive rates available for our pavilion. You can have us make the food or have it catered. We’re family friendly, so all ages are welcome. Our location is ideal, as we’re right at the intersection of I-71 and I-76.

Deer Pass partners with hotel and limousine companies to provide transportation and hotel accommodations for those visiting from out of town. We also have relationships with bands, DJs, and magicians, who can all provide affordable entertainment for the day of your event.

We like to be your one-stop shop, which is why we take care of all your needs—without you having to look for outside vendors. Contact me directly for details, at 216-469-9241.

Deer Pass Golf Course is located at 5886 Greenwich Road in Seville and is open daily until dark. Visit us online at  DeerPassGolf.com, and contact the golf course by phone at 330-769-9955.

On Par with Chad: In your league
By Chad Gibson-General Manager, Deer Pass Golf Course
When it comes to joining a golf league, you can either start your own or join one of the many exciting options offered here at Deer Pass Golf Course. There are numerous incentives for joining the Deer Pass family, most of which you won’t find elsewhere.
For example, if you bring a league to Deer Pass Golf Course, we’ll give your secretary free golf and a complimentary cart. Additionally, the whole league will receive a free hamburger meal at mid-season, and a steak dinner at the end of the season.
If you want to join an existing league as opposed to starting your own, we have Tuesday and Thursday morning seniors, a Thursday morning ladies league, a two-man Thursday evening league, and Monday and Thursday evening scrambles. The evening scrambles are non-obligation, so you can show up any week that you want to. They’re open to men, women, and seniors, and we play from all four sets of tees to accommodate everyone.
At Deer Pass Golf Course, we also offer several membership options, including Wednesday passes, five-day and seven-day entrance options, senior discounts, and junior memberships. The culture here is very friendly, which is why people come back time after time to enjoy rounds of golf. You don’t have to be an avid or skilled golfer to come to Deer Pass, either, and all handicaps are welcomed. We make our teams even, so everyone can have a chance at winning.
For more information about any of our leagues, contact me directly at 216-469-9241. It would be my pleasure to talk with you.

We have held 2 golf outings at Deer Pass both raising way more than originally expected. Chad helps with everything start to finish and takes the stress of organizing such a large event off the hands of the volunteers. The course is affordable and great for the no so professional golfer. I would highly suggest if you are looking for a place to hold an outing that you contact Chad at Deer Pass!

I've been hearing great things about this golf course and finally had a chance to golf there. Wow, what a great course this is. Really enjoyed the greens - they're challenging, but true. The staff is very friendly and the prices are great! They have a great location. I was pleasantly surprised by how quick and easy it is to get there. Highly recommend.

Chad Gibson is the fundraiser fanatic. If you need to raise funds for your school team, child's sport, or a worthy cause, you should definitely check out his program. And you don't even need to be a golfer. We have used Chad two times for our son's youth basketball game and for Team Fox Party for Parkinsons. His program is fool proof because there is very little work involved, and he raises thousands for each event. I highly recommend using Dave for fundraising. And they have a pretty awesome course as well.

I truly think this is the most overrated golf course in northeast Ohio. The course is in pretty bad shape, and the staff, for the most part, is a Little bit rude. There are a few fun holes, but I would take my business to one of the better Medina courses.
Response from the owner - 2 months ago
Hi Billy, If you would like to discuss this further please call Chad Gibson, General Manager, Deer Pass Golf, 330-769-9955. I am sorry that you were unhappy with our course. We pride ourselves in being friendly , homey and comfortable and I am sorry we didn't meet your expectations. We have invested, hundreds of thousands of dollars into into Deer Pass Golf Course in the past few years, and much more is planned to make this golf course a great experience.

This is a fine golf course!! Beginner/Intermediate Difficulty with a great Par-3 island hole on the front - the back is wide open and beginners/slicers can play drives that end up in the opposing fairway. The course maintenance and quality have improved considerably every year of my patronage (3yrs). The prices are reasonably inexpensive and the dress code is lax; this is great for fellow contractors who prefer the familiar feel of boots over cleats or tennis shoes. (no large lugged loggers - they tear up greens) The staff, especially the starters are friendly and quick with a joke. "Stache" ,the house "pro" I assume, walks around with a chip on his shoulder.. You'll recognize him when you see him - just avoid/ignore him - he puts a smudge on an otherwise brilliant finish. Deer Pass is a great place to throw an outing. I've sponsored holes for numerous events and have never had a poor report. Love Inc. recently held their golf outing with Deer Pass!

This place is truly not worth more than $10 a round. Greens are dime size and the fairways are junk.
