A bit of urban scrawl on our kitchen Wall Scrawl this past week. Generally I use it for writing up our menu plan for the week, shop lists and things to do. I pin recipes, school notes, vouchers, dockets and every other scrap of paper I think we need to hold on to as well. However everytime I clean it, it becomes a tempting canvas for visitor doodling. On Cup Day my brother in law drew his version of a fascinator as well as a somewhat aged depiction of our son Ethan who is 17 but looks more like a breaking bad dude in his 50s. And then while we were out on the weekend the boys were group studying with some mates (very rare but so impressive) and Mohamed drew a version of himself. I asked Will, my other son, if Mohamed could draw and he said, "He can't draw unless he is drawing himself"
