Selecting the best target market for your business is the most important but difficult part of the marketing plan. Business owners will make many excuses when asked why they have not chosen a target because they believe that targeting limits their opportunities.
Selecting the best target market for your business helps you define and communicate your solution to their problem with ultimate clarity.

We know that providing great content is important to our online marketing strategy, but creating that content can be a burden. According to the Content Marketing Institute, 57% of content marketers just simply don’t have enough time to produce content. And when you are a small business owner, time is a precious commodity.
As an important part of our inbound marketing plan, small business owners must create web content quickly and painlessly.

All construction must begin with a solid foundation otherwise you risk building a structure that requires constant maintenance and repair. Effective content marketing is no different. Your content strategy must be architected and built as carefully and with as much care as the foundation of a building.
Effective content marketing needs a solid foundation that guides the content creation process in order to contribute to a successful ROI.

Keyword research is one of the most important and valuable activities in marketing, not just search engine marketing, but marketing in general and should be the starting point of your marketing plan. Consider keyword research as a component of market research that helps us better understand what our target markets are interested in and what terms they use to find what they need.

Keyword research is an important activity in marketing so you understand how your target audience searches for your products and services.

Your value proposition is an important part of your marketing strategy that is often misunderstood. Although a key concept in marketing for decades, it is now just as important in the online world where you are trying to get people to click on your ads or convert on your landing pages into qualified leads.
Create a value proposition that clearly states the tangible results your customers realize from using your products or services.

Small Business Marketing Coach specializing in Inbound Marketing
Introduction
I am a small business marketing coach who partners with small business owners to help them leverage inbound marketing – a combination of search, social and content marketing – to build brand visibility within your target market. My passion for helping small business owners succeed is what drives me. I enjoy sharing knowledge, inspiring success and motivating business owners.

The force behind Masterful Marketing was observing the difficulty many small business owners had with marketing, wanting help but unable to justify the cost of a consultant. Many times I had been approached by small business owners who would ask me if I could help them, but I knew that my consulting business model did not cater to their needs or their budget even though the same marketing system that works for larger companies would work just as well for these business owners. So through my desire to help business owners build their businesses around their passions came Masterful Marketing®.

Launching this program has fulfilled my dream of helping many businesses not become one of the statistics of business failures. Nothing is more liberating than having control of your livelihood, income and destiny in life. I want to share what I’ve learned with others so they can enjoy what I enjoy.
