I'd never heard of Book Spine Poetry, but apparently it is a thing.
My Excel reference books don't stack up in a poetic way.
The concept of book spine poetry appeared in 1993 with Nina Katchadourian’s Sorted Books project. Katchadourian began collecting interesting titles and arranging them in clusters so the spines could be read like a sentence. Maria Popova of Brain Pickings adapted … Continued

I've seen that before, but I forgot about it. Good stuff. Thanks for reminding me of that genre.

Is it wrong to hide one cymbal, when your child is given a Fisher-Price musical kit? I'm asking for a friend, who might have done this, many years ago. It finally turned up, in a box in the basement

A sad, neglected, needlework project, that I found in the basement today. Did I stop working on it because I ran out of white wool for the background? Or did I just run out of motivation?
I'm now debating whether to clean it up and finish it, or send it to a home for unfinished craft projects.

Does Google know where you are? Probably won't work if you're common, errr, if you have a common name.

If you've lost your marbles, please let me know. I found these in the basement.

Some of my ancestors must have come from Minnesota. We had Dream Whip salad on special occasions. Still shuddering.
About 10 years ago, Emily Weiss' sister began making a very special salad that she learned from her in-laws. "It consists of Cool Whip, chopped Granny Smith...

Maple Leaf Foods just sent me an email suggesting this recipe as a "lighter and healthier" meal option. It looks good, but what the heck do they think I'm eating now, that would make a pound of bacon an improvement?

It's in bad shape, but this Sindy music centre got lots of use, long ago. The tiny records are missing, but the pink tape was still in the player. And yes, it goes way past 11 -- it goes to 16!
It used to look like the one here:

As a kid, I always thought she looked like a kid... whereas I wanted my Barbies to look like the women on TV so that I could make up my own episodes of shows and have the Barbies act them out.
I was desperate for a dark-haired Barbie because the women on 70s and 80s TV who had brains in their heads were usually brunette.

The Billboard Music performer search map is interesting, and i wonder if time zones affected the search, or just musical taste?

Do not listen to this video -- it will be stuck in your head for hours.
And, of course, there's the Leonard Cohen version.

As you can see from this entry in my Grade 5 yearbook, I went to school with a gang of thugs. Probably most of them are in prison now.
And all the alcohol smell has disappeared from the paper (remember that?)
