Love the Wah Banana people. Great example of how you can produce really engaging videos with some creativity and hammy acting

Amazing stuff

A glimpse of the last rally held by the Workers' Party for the Hougang By-election, on 24th May 2012, at the open field of Blk 837, Hougang Central.

This is purely a documentation of the evening and is not an endorsement of the party in any way, nor was it commissioned by any person, organization, or political party.

Captured with an Olympus OM-D EM5 using an Olympus 12mm f2 and a Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25mm f1.4 ASPH.

Need to figure out a killer app. And then, well, learn how to develop an app.

Food and service here are excellent. I had the foie gras with poached egg for starters, pork belly for my main (which had an awesomely crispy rind), and nougat ice cream for dessert. Our waitress - an really nice "aunty" who was a total gem - really knew the menu, and struck the right balance between being attentive and giving us our space. Was very amused when she made a disapproving sound at my first dessert choice which i promptly changed to the nougat.

Food was average. Service (with the exception of the filipino wait staff who were alright) was indifferent. To top things off, they don't serve water and you have to buy a bottle - unacceptable, for a restaurant, and the impetus for this review. Patronise it only if you have nowhere else better to go.

A lot of shops in the Haji lane street don't have a strong theme, and their merchandise can feel random. Dulcetfig is not one of those shops - you can tell the owners have put some thought into it. Visit this place if you're into vintage clothes and and quirky accessories. The sales girl who served us was also really nice and pleasant.

This shop has really nice stuff. Pity about the sales assistants. My friend and i visited the store one evening, and our few polite questions about merchandise received replies from the salesgirl in what can only be described as the tone of an Ah Lian raring for a fight. If you like their things, visit Wonderland or Soon Lee down the same street (or even Crate and Barrel) where you'll get better service for the same price.

Five stars: We went for the "Feed Us!" set where the chefs decide what to serve you. Food was delicious - the 48 hours braised beef and apple crumble were fantastic. Servers were really friendly and attentive. Three stars: Tables are packed ridiculously close together and really small. The servers also weren't very good at arranging the plates nicely for you if you're sharing. Averaged out, i give this place four stars.
