Werner's family had one of these in the living room!! I loved it. He still misses it.
Kachelofen  Love
I'd love to have one of these in the living room. Tile ovens were for a long time, the main or only source of heat in Swiss, German and Austrian houses. They are made with or without bread baking ovens.
I stuck my head inside this oven and took a peek, it looked to be 80cm wide and 1.2 meters deep:room for about 18 round 1kg loaves. (it was still warm from the last fire)
Kachelofens utilize a complex system of flue channels to evenly heat up a heavy mass, which in turn stays warm for an extended period.
They are used with short duration fires with intense heat, this is ideal to charge a bread baking oven and also helps to keep the exhaust flues clear of creosote. The two benches are used to warm the families buns, the upper one would be rather warm, a ten minute sitting would be all that any normal person could handle.

This is best when it rests overnight to let the flavors meld. Only problem with that is by morning it was 3/4 gone!
I picked up a pre-made salad one evening to serve with dinner and loved the combination of flavors , so as I am wont to do, I played with it until I got close or even better. The lemon- as well as the cider vinegar -gives it the sour kick it needs. It would be good with sauteed zucchini pieces ...

These look absolutely wonderful!
It's the time of year when I plan cold drinks for the afternoon tea we serve daily at the Brampton Bed and Breakfast Inn. To keep it interesting I try to have another refreshing choice along the ice tea. Mint and lemon fit the bill just perfectly and the combination is amazing.

The 3 Hottest Questions This Week From The Google+ Help Community
Profile/Page Clarification, Google+ Auto-backup, Circling Limits

Hey everyone! Time for the latest Google+ Help Weekly Round-Up where the top trending questions of the week are answered!

1) +Scripps Landing asked about the difference between Profiles and Pages:
”So what's the difference between a google+ profile and the "page" your profile "manages"?

+Masatake Wasa responded with the following explanation:
”Essentially the difference can be summarized thus: a Google+ profilerepresents a person, whereas a Google+ page represents a thing such as a business, or an organization, or a website.”
See the full discussion here:

*2) +Jason M asked about Google+ Auto-backup: *
”Can I delete photos from my phone, but keep them on Google Plus Auto Back Up (private)?? I need the storage space, but want to keep the photos.”

+Amirudin Ridwan shared the following advice:
”On Android,
To delete photos from just your device:
-Open the Photos app,
-Slide in the sidebar on the left,
-Tap Folders
-Tap the folder name to open it,
-Long press the first photo that you want to delete,
-Tap the others that you also want to delete,
-Tap the Trash icon on the top right of the screen.”
See the full discussion here:

3) +Marc Argent asked about Circling Limitations:
”I am managing [a] G+ page and for the past 2 weeks I can only add less than 5 new people to circles per day. Can anyone please explain how I can get this limit lifted?”

+Kamal Tailor responded
”There is no real solution, I would recommend stopping for a while, Google Expects the ratio of people adding your page to a circle to be higher than the page adding people.
Start commenting and +1ing posts that you follow so far through your page. Interacting with posts that aren't your own constructively and positively will encourage people to check out your page and add your page to one of their circles.

I recommend not adding people or moving people between circles for a few days to a couple of weeks. ”
