Now that I've managed to turn my G+ stream into a photo stream, I'm full of mixed emotions.  Awe and envy of some of the awesome shots I'm seeing.  Sadness that I don't have time/energy/equipment to shoot like that these days and that feeling of being totally out of your depth when you realize that you know a whole lot less about a subject (in this case the technical side of photography) than you ever thought you did.  
Sure, I've had a camera in my hands since I was 6 or 7.  I've used an SLR since I was 9 or 10.  I've even had a handful of photos win contests at various levels...  I "know" a lot about f-stop, shutter speed, ISO and the like, but I've never really taken a technical photography class in my life and so a lot of the "tricks of the trade" are just plain lost on me... like everything to do with setting up your own lighting...
