Locally sourced British fare served in a snug, candlelit space with equestrian decor & bric-a-brac.- Google
"Iced coffee during brunch would be on my fantasy wish-list as well."
"The pork chop entree is a must eat and definitely save room for dessert."

On paper this place is one of the best spots in the neighborhood. Fun food, reasonable prices, and great lighting day or night. But every time I've been here I feel like I'm served with an eye roll and a sigh. There is no way the servers here took that career test in high school and got "service industry". To me this is the worst element of Bushwick, that attitude that makes me feel like I just don't have enough tattoos or mustache or artist friends to be cool enough to be welcome. There are enough great places in the area that have great service that Dear Bushwick can be skipped.

I want to like this place more, and maybe I don't because I have other local favorites where I feel at home. Dear Bushwick seems a tad too pretentious. Even if that's not the right word, I'm just not sure what it's doing. Something about it doesn't work for me. Or maybe I just need to give it a third, fourth, and fifth try.

Best restaurant in Bushwick, hands down. One of the best restaurant in all of Williamsburg or bushwick or heck, all of NYC even. That 3.7 rating v. L.A. Burrito's on the corner is quite misleading. Great vibe and service, and unbelievable food, even if you think you don't like English country fare. And this is based on probably 10 visits.

I gave this place an one star. Myself and a few friends visited this place were totally ignored. It seems that we were not welcome. is this place is an all white hipster trashy place? Weird looking scums in this place. Fu$@k the food, beer and wine. By the the way, the five stars rating are from their own people. Scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unexpected cozy restaurant in the middle of nowhere, go with a small party and you will have a great night there. Food is amazing and their happy hour drink worth a try!

I LOVE Dear Bushwick. I love it at night, I love it for brunch, I love the bar and I love the back yard. While Northeast Kingdom may yet reign as 'saltiest neighborhood grubs' Dear Bushwick comes up close and then dominates in the butter/fat category. That's not to say the food is completely unhealthy, it's just probably not food you should eat every day. The pork chop entree is a must eat and definitely save room for dessert. Also, try the cocktails, so far all have been nicely balanced, with very interesting flavor profiles. The wine list is the only place where I would say there is room for real improvement. Iced coffee during brunch would be on my fantasy wish-list as well.

OMG! Does anyone aside from the Guide Michelin know what kind of gem they're having in the heart of Bushwick?? We had pretty much everything on the menu (except for entrees) and every single dish was more exciting than the previous one. The complexity, the ingenuity, the level of sophistication and the level of culinary risk taken is just extraordinary. It doesn't get much better than this at any price point below $100 per person on either side of the Atlantic. Jessica, we love you! Did I mention that she sent a glass of Amaro along with two little spoons of chocolate mousse our way at the end of this lovely evening? The chocolate mousse is spiced with sea salt and traces of pink pepper along with a tiny bit of whipped cream, pistacchios and some je ne sais quoi?! The level of sophisticaiton is indicative of all their dishes. Every server we talked to was informed, articulate, into it and really friendly. And did I mention that the bill was $40 per person? Including a bottle of excellent NZ white.
