"Contrary to concerns about increased food waste following the initial implementation of the updated standards, this study shows that students are throwing away less food now than they were before the standards were in place."
After the U.S. Department of Agriculture's healthier school meal standards went into effect, students ate more fruit and threw away less of their entrees and vegetables than before the changes, according to a study published today in Childhood Obesity.

"It’s a familiar story. Small communities from Rhode Island to Georgia to Oregon have paid to build prisons to attract private contractors — at moments when they believed a boom in prisoner populations was coming — only to get stuck with their upkeep when the contractors left town..."
A private prison company, a prison riot, and what comes next.

" The answer is "WE DON'T KNOW!" We are talking about an old email servers that are now offline. We have no way to show where they were, what software they were running and if they were secure or not.

At this point in the story everything we are being told is purely speculation and so much appears to be nothing more than hit pieces, written by people who really don't know what they are talking about. "
With news of Hillary Clinton not using State Department emails has come tons of conspiracies. Allow me o try and unravel some of those.

(The) "tea party, inside and outside of Congress, has some political blind spots. And none is greater or more harmful that the view that if Republicans withhold funding for the government President Obama will cry uncle over some big issue, such as Obamacare or administrative amnesties."
Robert Robb: The impasse over DHS funding wasn't a test of political fortitude. It was a test of political intelligence.

+tommy northam You do seem to get lots of healthy exercise jumping to conclusions and moving goal posts. Faced with evidence that your claim of "illegal" Presidential action is unfounded, you try to change the subject.

No matter. I give you credit for marathon assertions without evidence.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R.—S. Carolina): “There’s been a concerted effort by Hillary Clinton to cover up her role in President Lincoln’s murder. She has said nothing about it. This is bigger than Watergate, the Cuban missile crisis, and the Second World War put together.”

Hillary Clinton is unlucky. First she lost 2008 USA election to Barack Obama The Mother Fucker. Now is the story of Lincoln. Hard luck lady.

Tucked into a nondescript retail space that has housed a succession of eateries, Wonderful Bistro offers Chinese cuisine. On my first visit I was happily surprised to see a freshly refurbished interior that avoided the clutter of previous tenants of the space. The glass-topped tables are already decorated for Valentine's Day with pink paper hearts peering up through the glass. The menu is a bit on the large side but offers a satisfying range of entrees, each prepared on order and served in traditional family style platters and plates. Typical entrees range from $12 to $15, and you can get a whole roasted duck for $30. My Szechuan Beef was beautifully perfumed with garlic, the Hot and Sour Soup was well balanced and even managed to make the tofu tasty. Wonderful Bistro's service is low key but timely. Servers are happy to expertly describe each fish and help diners make the right menu choice. If there is a downside it's the lack of a liquor license, but the restaurant has an application pending. The addition of a balanced wine list would complete the dining experience. I'll go back.
