I thought Christians were supposed to love their oppressors, not ask for criminal charges against them. But "Dr. Chaps" has made quite a little career from playing the victim. #WhinyLittleBitch. #ns
Just days before the primary election, state Rep. Gordon Klingenschmitt is fighting back against a political advocacy group he believes to be responsible for mailing attack ads against him to Republican voters in his district. Klingenschmitt, who faces Bob Gardner in the state Senate District 12 race Tuesday, submitted a letter to 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office Thursday calling for a criminal investigation into former U.S. Rep. Bob Beaup...

I read the article and if it's true that making false statements in political ads is a misdemeanor office I'm all for filing charges.

And if it's true I hope it's a federal law, not a state law.

In the US, people win office by making false statements.

It would be GREAT if we could change that.

If the Iraqi army is right, and the capture of the Golan neighbourhood marks the end of the battle for Falluja, then this is a significant moment.

Wartime rations on fabric made wearing such oversized clothing an inherently disobedient act. Langston Hughes wrote in 1943 that for people with a history of cultural and economic poverty, “too much becomes JUST ENOUGH for them.” To underscore the style’s almost treasonous indulgence, press accounts exaggerated the price of zoot suits by upwards of 50 percent.

Excellent location in a stunningly scenic location. We had a corner room with wonderful views of immense mesas, vineyards and apricot Groves. The staff was courteous and accommodating. The price was certainly right, and if you go be sure to book a tour of local vinyards and wineries with JR carriage Wine Experience, because there's nothing like a horse drawn carriage tour of this beautiful Rocky Mountain Valley.

I've been a guest at this hotel frequently over the past 25 years. I select it because of its proximity to the Ogden Theatre and the Fillmore Auditorium. Considering the number of years since its last remodeling that proximity is the only reason I wpouild choose to tay there again.

Tucked into a nondescript retail space that has housed a succession of eateries, Wonderful Bistro offers Chinese cuisine. On my first visit I was happily surprised to see a freshly refurbished interior that avoided the clutter of previous tenants of the space. The glass-topped tables are already decorated for Valentine's Day with pink paper hearts peering up through the glass. The menu is a bit on the large side but offers a satisfying range of entrees, each prepared on order and served in traditional family style platters and plates. Typical entrees range from $12 to $15, and you can get a whole roasted duck for $30. My Szechuan Beef was beautifully perfumed with garlic, the Hot and Sour Soup was well balanced and even managed to make the tofu tasty. Wonderful Bistro's service is low key but timely. Servers are happy to expertly describe each fish and help diners make the right menu choice. If there is a downside it's the lack of a liquor license, but the restaurant has an application pending. The addition of a balanced wine list would complete the dining experience. I'll go back.
