TLS Continuum Part 1: Importance of Values
This post will be the beginning of a series of posts based on our book Achieving HR Excellence through Six Sigma and its sequel a Field Guide to Achieving HR Excellence through Six Sigma to be released by Productivity Press late in 2015 or early 2016. It is our intent to take you on a unique journey, which is like no journey you have ever been on. We can provide you the departure point but I have no way to tell you where you will end up. There are too many twists and turns that can take place.

2015 mileage rates released

The Internal Revenue Service today issued the 2015 optional standard mileage rates used to calculate the deductible costs of operating an automobile for business, charitable, medical or moving purposes.
Beginning on Jan. 1, 2015, the standard mileage rates for the use of a car, van, pickup or panel truck will be:
• 57.5 cents per mile for business miles driven, up from 56 cents in 2014 
• 23 cents per mile driven for medical or moving purposes, down half a cent from 2014  
• 14 cents per mile driven in service of charitable organizations
