Yes, those of us on the Chesapeake Bay still have winter.  This is yesterday's sunset. It looks like the waves are frozen in time and are those small icebergs I see?

In so many places, this is business as usual.

+Dictionary.com
Dictionary.com has given us the noun Ad Hockery to increase our vocabulary.  It means reliance on temporary solutions rather than on consistent, long-term plans. So, the people who keep kicking the can down the road...when th...

Fresh snow should not be wasted!  It is to be savored and smeared on ones nose.  Toss me a snowball.

not only is that pencil of little use but I suspect that robotic hand is none to graceful, either.

Yes, we all know where the term "pointless" comes from.  The dictionary.com word of the day, inutile, is an adjective that means, "of no use or service".

having read a few other reviews about poor service and food, I have to say our experience is the opposite. Food has always been tasty and generous and exactly as ordered. Our servers have always been pleasant. We don't mind a bit of a wait for our food since we typically go in nice weather and bring our dog. They have a nice dog friendly patio both in front and in back of the restaurant. We usually don't order the cocktails. My mom occasionally orders wine, we usually have coffee. They keep our cups hot and full.

This is a large clean and bright kennel. My husband and I came to visit on the spur of the moment and everything looked just as we would expect a well run kennel to be. It was a nice day and we had the pleasure of lingering to chat with Joyce, the owner. We also watched some schutzhund training. The dogs were happy and excited to be out and working. There was a litter of GSD puppies available and we ended up bringing one of the boys home once the pups were 8 weeks old. He is an energetic, inquisitive and brave little fellow...well, he won't be little long. He is growing into a very handsome dog.

The commercials say "Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man/ or woman" and for Sneade's this has always been my experience. During my last purchase I was just exploring options. I have difficulty reading the boxes and when I saw that was I was considering was on sale, one of the gals took the time to help me read a number of boxes so I could know all my options. She then helped me find the bits and pieces that would go with my purchase, and gave me the isles I needed for a few more yard goods. And then I needed a new loyalty card since I had moved and this was a new Ace for me. They got me quickly and easily squared away and the items I bought work great!

This is a nice little two woman shop. They are both very skilled cutting hair for women, children and men. It is best to call and make an appointment but they will accept walk-ins if they have time.

This is one of my favorite places to go for a walk any time of the year. The annual festival is jam packed with great vendors and activities. This is a great place to go for a photo walk, although folks wanting to use the grounds for a professional photoshoot need to apply for a pass. I have not tried the snack bar but I have been told that the food is good.

A very nice little restaurant. Very surprising since it doesn't look like much from the tiny street that it is on. We had a delicious lunch.
