Today was a bit bright for photography but the feel of the air on our skin was just scrumptious. My hubby was there with our German Shepherd Dog, meeting and greeting and enjoying chatting with folk. I picked up some lovely fruit. All the produce and honey and such are very good quality. And the vendors are friendly. Some are folks who retired and took up hobby gardening, which turns out takes us much time or more than their original career took.

We love our dog friendly restaurants.  There are not enough of them.  If we all teach our dogs good manners and are good patrons ourselves we might find more and more restaurants allowing us to bring our fur buddies.
We want to take advantage of the nice weather. If you're heading to a restaurant or bar patio with your dog, keep these tips in mind while dining al fresco.

Seems lovely. I can't wait to see it, even though it'll be cold once I am there.

Mom wanted to.buy a new chair and the sales gal, Patricia, was so pleasant to work with. It was a quiet day and we could try out chair after chair until Mom found the perfect one.

No, this is an actual word.  Have any of you actually used this...ever?
I am very sure that this is a word that I will never use again.  Not that I don't care for its definition.  Its concept is noble. Well, think about it, how often would you use the word "eleemosynary?"  Granted it rolls off of...

This is a beautiful song, all be it a bit sad.
Sweetly or smoothly flowing; sweet-sounding.  hmm How was I suppose to illustrate how that? The second definition for mellifluous is "flowing with honey; sweetened with or as if with honey" I suppose the best way would be to ...

This is a small store that carries a nice variety of high quality pet foods. I have asked for special orders and they have always been able to meet my needs at a fair price. They have three dog washing stations if you need to give you dog a bath. They also have grooming services.

We dropped in the the store and asked about an estimate for fencing around our yard. George was able to fit us in between appointments, He measured the property and gave us an estimate for our original idea. It was much more expensive than we had anticipated. He then took the time to work with us to come up with a plan that would look good and work well and be closer to our budget. The project, which was large, did take longer than planned. Weather did not help and sometimes they had staffing issues. But in the end we got a good looking fence, well installed. The workmen were pleasant to work with and cleaned up at the end. Very little was left behind.

Best gas prices. Very crowded and a bit messy probably because it was so busy. Coffee was weak

This is a large clean and bright kennel. My husband and I came to visit on the spur of the moment and everything looked just as we would expect a well run kennel to be. It was a nice day and we had the pleasure of lingering to chat with Joyce, the owner. We also watched some schutzhund training. The dogs were happy and excited to be out and working. There was a litter of GSD puppies available and we ended up bringing one of the boys home once the pups were 8 weeks old. He is an energetic, inquisitive and brave little fellow...well, he won't be little long. He is growing into a very handsome dog.

having read a few other reviews about poor service and food, I have to say our experience is the opposite. Food has always been tasty and generous and exactly as ordered. Our servers have always been pleasant. We don't mind a bit of a wait for our food since we typically go in nice weather and bring our dog. They have a nice dog friendly patio both in front and in back of the restaurant. We usually don't order the cocktails. My mom occasionally orders wine, we usually have coffee. They keep our cups hot and full.

This is a nice little two woman shop. They are both very skilled cutting hair for women, children and men. It is best to call and make an appointment but they will accept walk-ins if they have time.

This is one of my favorite places to go for a walk any time of the year. The annual festival is jam packed with great vendors and activities. This is a great place to go for a photo walk, although folks wanting to use the grounds for a professional photoshoot need to apply for a pass. I have not tried the snack bar but I have been told that the food is good.
