I had heard that there was going to be a "wintry mix" overnight so I was surprised to see this during the morning

We've all heard the statistics and debunked myths of "dangerous breeds," but do you know which dogs are actually the most dangerous? We're here to shed some lig

hmm, my hubby has some similar attributes (although his expertise in the wood shop have gone dormant over the years).  How many other women can claim this of their men.
My husband is simply not evolutionarily adapted to function in certain arenas.

Unnecessary Hard Talk - The XY Code
Unnecessary Hard Talk
Posted: 28 Mar 2016 12:01 AM PDT

A couple of weeks ago the latch on the RV door broke. I got it fixed and realized it now closed much easier. I was concerned we would break it again by closing it hard out of habit. So of course, I said to Lori “You need to be careful not to slam the door.” I hope I said it nicely, but I suspect it sounded a bit cranky.
HARSH!
So why the unnecessary harshness? I was saying to her what I felt I needed to hear. I’m very much a creature of habit, and I knew it was going to be difficult for me to not close the door the way I’d been doing for months. I put my difficulty on Lori and then treated her as if she was going to be as hard to change as I would be.
A better choice would have been to explain the situation and then ask Lori to try to help me not slam the door. She gets the message, and I get the extra focus on thinking about it I needed.
If your husband has a habit of being harsher than necessary, he might just be talking to you the way he talks to himself.

not at all, many of the problems we face others do, too.  we just don't share how we over come them.

my hubby and I stopped by for a quick lunch. We had our dog with us so having outdoor seating (picnic benches) was ideal. We had the bbq sandwich and ribs. They were huge and very tasty. My sweetheart had mac and cheese and wonderful baked beans for sides and I had sweet potato and onion rings on the side. The sweet potato was very good but the onion rings were not worth the mark-up. Their hours are from 11:00 to sold out so make sure to get there early enough. We would definitely stop there again next time we are in the Indian Head area.

Dr Miller and his staff have a very small practice but they are so very good. Dr. Miller is quick and calm with our young German Shepherd. He has been quite thorough with our new patient visit and he has helped us take care of a couple of small issues that came up, so that our pup was up and busy and feeling good as quickly as possible.

We dropped in the the store and asked about an estimate for fencing around our yard. George was able to fit us in between appointments, He measured the property and gave us an estimate for our original idea. It was much more expensive than we had anticipated. He then took the time to work with us to come up with a plan that would look good and work well and be closer to our budget. The project, which was large, did take longer than planned. Weather did not help and sometimes they had staffing issues. But in the end we got a good looking fence, well installed. The workmen were pleasant to work with and cleaned up at the end. Very little was left behind.

Best gas prices. Very crowded and a bit messy probably because it was so busy. Coffee was weak

This is a small store that carries a nice variety of high quality pet foods. I have asked for special orders and they have always been able to meet my needs at a fair price. They have three dog washing stations if you need to give you dog a bath. They also have grooming services.

having read a few other reviews about poor service and food, I have to say our experience is the opposite. Food has always been tasty and generous and exactly as ordered. Our servers have always been pleasant. We don't mind a bit of a wait for our food since we typically go in nice weather and bring our dog. They have a nice dog friendly patio both in front and in back of the restaurant. We usually don't order the cocktails. My mom occasionally orders wine, we usually have coffee. They keep our cups hot and full.

This is a nice little two woman shop. They are both very skilled cutting hair for women, children and men. It is best to call and make an appointment but they will accept walk-ins if they have time.
