KSI FANBOYS: Hear me out and watch the entire video first before jumping to conclusions. I like KSI myself, but to see his fans drilling into GudjonDaniel relentlessly for the past year without remorse, and KSI himself doing nothing about it, is absolutely unacceptable and sickens me just as much as any other cases of bullying and cyberbullying would. Let's use our voices on the internet to spread love, not hate. #ARMY17

(WARNING: This comment is quite long)
Before I go into anything else, I want to apologise to anyone who had been waiting for this short film/vlog to come out, for releasing it nearly a month past the release date I had set for it. I got caught up dealing with major record labels for the first time in my life, trying to sort out copyright issues with four songs I used in the video, for which I could not afford (and therefore did not manage) to get the rights to use. As a consequence I had to search for other songs that could match the vision I had for this short film/vlog, and re-edit the entire video and its captions along with it.

As much as I created this as just another experience I wanted to share with you, the realisation of all the hard work and patience that culminated in this journey inspired me to try and do more than just post another video. What I intended to be a casual 10 to 15-minute vlog turned into a short film almost half an hour long. I'd actually call it an "artistic vlog".

The same hard work and patience that culminated in this journey made me realise that, with the support of my friends and family, I really actually am able to have, do and be whatever I want, so long as I put 100% into it and never give up. Professional football is still obviously a somewhat distant goal for me, but the journey I embarked on in this video is definitely a step in the right direction, hence the title of this short film/vlog, which I originally didn't plan on including.

This video has probably made or will probably make you question the future of my YouTube channel. I don't intend to ever stop making YouTube videos to entertain you, but unless I can meet (or come close to) the goal I have set for my crowdfunding project, the outcome of this journey will probably hinder my ability to do so to a very large extent - I may well end up like Joltter Football and go several months without uploading a single video. In that regard, I will speak on the future of my channel in a video towards the end of August.

With all that being said, I really hope you enjoy(ed) this short film because I put quite a lot of effort into putting it together. As much as I initially just intended this to be another experience to share with you, my other goal for this is to let you know you can do anything you set your mind, body and soul to, if you want it badly enough. If this video manages to inspire even just one person to go out, follow their passion, chase their dreams and be great, then that's good enough for me. That's what I want you guys to be about. That's what I want #ARMY17 to be about.

And for the hundredth time…tell your sister to leave me alone.

Much love,
Davy

It's been almost a year since I started making YouTube videos on a regular basis. Your support has been immense so far - 3,500+ subscribers isn't too bad - but now I need your help to keep it going. Check out the campaign, support the project and spread the word. ‪#‎ARMY17‬ 👌
