I want to thank you all for a wonderful experience at my daughter's Baby Shower. Everyone involved were kind and caring. It was great that you could accommodate the gluten free and dairy free allergies for some of our guests. Morgan was always on top of things and I couldn't ask for better verbal contact between me, my daughter. Jaye & Andrea were fabulous people during all the plans of the event. I will make sure to pass the word on to people who are looking for a place to have their special events. Thanks again for all you did! C. Duval & J. Beranek.

This used to be such a great place before they moved to the other side of the building. My wife and I even had our wedding reception there in 2006. It was small and comfortable, the food was very good, and the service was excellent. Now the prices are much steeper, the food is nowhere near as good, and the service is lousy. It has become pretentious--the kind of place people go to for drinks so they don't have to pay much attention to what the food tastes like.

Davinci's is great! there is just no other way to say it! It is one of the best Italin restaurants in the twin cities with the food always fresh and the menu is always interesting. We end up there at least once a month.

I would like to thank the entire staff last night. I reserved a table for 10 last night to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday and when 4-5 more showed up unannounced, they took care of the problem. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was wonderful and everyone had a great time. Thank you to the wait staff for singing Happy Birthday and bringing out her cake at the perfect moment. Thank you to Karen who took care of us all of us. My wife had a wonderful time, thank you again.

Awesome decor, our server Brian was awesome. Learned of their 22-25 oz handmade mugs for the price of a 16 oz drink. They had me at handmade. Unfortunately I was driving. So I am looking forward to going back and have a party and more than a few mugs.

Dogfish Head “Hopfest” Flight Night 8/28/14

IPAs are all the rage in the craft beer industry nowadays and boy do we have a treat for all you "Hop Heads" out there!
We have worked closely with Matt Bolduc from Central Distributors, Inc. - Beer Division to choose brews Dogfish Head Beer to make you the "hoppiest" you can be!
Among the beers is the "Holy Grail" from Dogfish...120 Minute IPA!
So join us on Thursday, August 28 from 5-9 p.m. for this experience that is sure to leave you "hoppy."
Cheers!

Featured Beers:
60 Minute IPA (draft) -- American IPA
6% ABV | 60 IBU | BA: 91
60 Minute IPA is continuously hopped -- more than 60 hop additions over a 60-minute boil. (Getting a vibe of where the name came from?) 60 Minute is brewed with a slew of great Northwest hops. A powerful but balanced East Coast IPA with a lot of citrusy hop character, it's the session beer for hardcore enthusiasts!

Sixty-One (draft) -- American IPA
6.5% ABV | 60 IBU | BA: 82
Sixty-One, their first new core beer since 2007, was born at the crossroads of serendipity, experimentation and brotherhood.  This brew marries two Dogfish Head innovations: beer/wine hybrids -- which Dogfish has focused on for well over a decade with beers like Midas Touch and Raison D'être -- and continually-hopped IPAs.

75 Minute IPA (750 ml bottle) -- American IPA
7.5% ABV | BA: 92
Blend two Dogfish Head favorites, add maple syrup, and carbonate the mixture naturally. What do you get? 75 Minute IPA. The carbon dioxide trapped during bottle conditioning gives 75 Minute IPA a soft and velvety mouthfeel. Dry-hopped with whole-leaf Cascades, this complex IPA has been known to inspire pilgrimages to our brewpub.

120 Minute IPA (draft) -- American Double/Imperial IPA
18% ABV | 120 IBU | BA: 91
Dogfish calls this beer THE HOLY GRAIL for hopheads! 120 Minute IPA is boiled for a full two hours while being continuously hopped with high-alpha American hops, then dry-hopped daily in the fermenter for a month and aged for another month on whole-leaf hops. They brew 120 Minute IPA a few times a year, but it goes fast.

Come join us from 5-9 p.m. tonight for a special event with Samuel Adams and The Wolf, 99.9 FM. The Wolf will be making a station appearance from 6-8 p.m. at DaVinci's and we'll have a pair of Boston Red Sox tickets to give away!

In addition we will be featuring four Samuel Adams products in our handcrafted wooden Flights this evening. Each flight will feature 5 ounce pours of the brews below. We hope you can join us! Cheers!

Summer Ale
o 5.3% ABV -- Crisp and tangy with refreshing lemon peel and a hint of pepper from rare Grains of Paradise. Golden, hazy, & thirst quenching, this American wheat ale balances bright citrus, Noble hops & spice for a lively brew that’s perfect on any summer day.

New World
o 10.0% ABV -- This Tripel was born from the old world Belgian technique of barrel aging and the new world’s craft brewing innovation. With its pale golden color and uniquely refreshing taste, this big, flavorful, and complex brew has a subtle herbal hop character combined with the tropical fruit and spice notes of its special Belgian yeast.

Stony Brook Red
o 9.0% ABV -- This unique brew builds from the inspiration of Flemish reds. It begins with an earthy sourness and hints of dark fruit but the tartness gives way to a rich maltiness and touch of toasted oak. These flavors are rounded and deepened by the barrel aging for a layered & alluring brew.

Honey Queen
o 7.5% ABV -- The harmonious blend of mead and beer, known as a Braggot, takes us back to medieval times, dating back as far as the 12th century. To capture that floral honey essence we used a combination of three unique honeys, along with the complexity of the hops, and the addition of chamomile to create this unique Braggot. This whimsical brew has a floral and slightly tart sweetness that gives way to a much awaited honey finish.

"Tweiss (pronounced "twice") has sweet banana notes that greet you as you take your first sip and give way to a subtle bready flavor. Come and enjoy four brews from one of BeerAdvocate's top rated brewers, Stone Brewing Co.. We'll have Go To IPA, Smoked Porter with Chipotle Peppers and Imperial Russian Stout on draft, and Ruination IPA as a bottle pour.

Matt Bolduc from Central Distributors, Inc. - Beer Division will be on hand to talk to you about the beers.

Each flight will contain 5 oz. pours of each beer. Additional information and tasting notes are below. We hope to see you here on the 14th!

Cheers!

Featured Beers:
• Go To IPA
4.5% ABV | IBUS: 65 | BA: 89
Stone embraced their hop obsession in a new way, funneling an abundance of lupulin-borne bitterness into a “session” IPA delivering all the fruity, piney character of a much bigger IPA. Using a technique they call “hop bursting”, an “irrational” amount of hops is added during the final phase of the brewing process to coax out extreme flavors and aromas while also imparting a burst of desirably pleasant bitterness. The result is an Alpha-acid-rich beer that fans can enjoy more of without missing out on the assertive hops.

• Smoked Porter with Chipotle Peppers
5.9% ABV | IBUS: 53 | BA: 85
Originally produced in 2006, smoked jalapeños meld quite naturally with the smoldery peat-smoked malt that gives this beer its flavor and moniker, creating a deep, roasty quaff with a carefully restrained tingle of tasteful capsaicin heat in the finish. This brew serves as an artisanal alternative to the industrialized adjunct-laden cerveza billed as the perfect fluid accompaniment to the sunny season.

• Ruination IPA
8.2% ABV | IBUS: 100+ | BA: 96
So called because of its truly "ruinous" effect on your palate, this massive hop monster will change forever your preconceptions of what defines good beer. This is Stone IPA's big brother, and we mean BIG. We essentially began with our already-awesome Stone IPA, threw in an extra-large helping of malt, and added a lot more hops. And then some more. And then even more, resulting in a vibrant blast of citrusy bitterness that hits you on the first sip. Just one taste and you'll know why we call this indelicate jewel "A liquid poem to the glory of the hop!"

• Imperial Russian Stout
10.6% ABV | IBUS: 60 | BA: 97
Thick, rich, and, sinful, you might worry that you will be doomed to the fiery pits just for thinking about a sip. Rest assured, however, that even though this seemingly pernicious brew is indeed as black as sin, we guarantee that no actual sin was committed in making it... you'll have to add that on your own. This massive and intensely aromatic beer abounds with notes of anise, black currants, coffee, and roastiness, and its heavy palate is nothing to be trifled with!

Gneiss is a German inspired weizen brauerei located in Limerick, ME. We will be featuring the four brews below as 5 oz. pours in our handcrafted wooden flights.
Brewery Representatives will be on hand so we hope you'll join us!

Featured Beers:
Weiss (4.8% ABV% • 12.7 IBU)
Style: Weissbier
Weiss is their flagship beer. This beer relies on a grain bill heavy on the wheat to bring forward a clean spiciness and creamy mouthfeel, without even a hint of cloying sweetness. They use American hops to help define the beer as a full flavored, easy drinking session beer.

Obsius (5.9% ABV% • 16 IBU)
Style: Weizenstout (Wheat Stout)
Obsius is a weizenstout, a wheat dominated stout brewed with their weiss yeast. Obsius is a rich and creamy beer with lots of roast and finishing with the bittering from the dark malts, not the hops.

Tectonic Tomahawk (6.7% ABV • 75 IBU)
Style: American Wheat IPA
This is their first release of the Single Hop Epoch. Made with Tomahawk hops this beer is by far the most assertive IPA they have planned. The Tomahawk hops add an earthy spiciness to balance out the fruity flavors from their house yeast and the body that the wheat provides. Definitely a treat for the hop-heads out there!

Sublimation (5.6% ABV • 42 IBU)
Their first all-barley beer. It is a dampfbier or German steam beer, brewed with barley malt and fermented at high temperature with our house hefeweizen yeast. Features moderate hop notes, faint fruitiness from the yeast and a crisp, clean finish.
